How are you doing this morning? I pray that you are all doing well.
In the past two days I have had two people tell me to "face reality" and that "reality hurts."
I didn't even hesitate when I said "God is reality."
Fellow Christians, there are those out there who will tell you to face reality. There are those out there that think that Christians are living in an unrealistic world believing in God, as you well know.
I have to say, DO NOT BE FEARFUL! Stand up for what you know is right! Say it loud and say it proud: GOD IS REALITY!
When hurricanes ravage our towns, when death and tragedy come into our lives, in the midst of pain, GOD IS REALITY!
God is in charge. He has a plan and He and only He knows what is to happen to us.
In Isaiah He says: Just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.
So when people tell you to face reality, tell them God is reality and is in control of reality.

Let the think what they will. Stand up for yourself and stand up for God! Let no one put God down without you saying something. He can sure take care of Himself, but if you let people say things in front of you and you say nothing, what does that say about you?
It is up to us to spread the gospel. Spread it, whether it is well recieved or not, is not your problem. Just spread it.

When you speak of hurricanes, death and tragedy I'm reminder of Jesus words in Luke 13,

'Now there were some present at that time who told Jesus about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices. Jesus answered, "Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans because they suffered this way? I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish. Or those eighteen who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them—do you think they were more guilty than all the others living in Jerusalem? I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish."

Christians, the real tragedy are those who do not repent and spend enternity in Hell!!

To: Jedi Master,
Great passage. Just like the prophets of Baal if you reject God you too will perish.

Paul wasn't between the Twelve. He advance into initially a Roman pronounced as Saul, a persecutor of the early Church, yet he had an come across with God, who became him blind, and He sent a believer, Ananais, to heal Saul. After the incident, Saul became a Christian, gave up his previous techniques of persecuting Christians and adjusted his call to Paul. He then became an excellent chief of the early Church, spreading the notice and inspiring Christians by way of his letters, that are actually interior the Bible. materials say that he advance into beheaded in Rome. so, in answer on your question; Paul wasn't between the Twelve; he persecuted Christians yet he advance into blinded and healed by way of God and became a Christian; he's an inspiring determine of that element, and purely because of the fact he advance into no longer hand-picked by Jesus on the earth does no longer propose we could continuously no longer heed his teachings; he did pay attention Jesus' teachings. For added concepts, inspect Acts, and then Ephesians, Romans, Corinthians or yet another of his letters.

Yes, He absolutely is Reality. Those who do not believe are merely people who swore the world was flat. They have not had the supernatural experiences as we have, so it's not totally their fault. However, they should not be so sure they know everything when in fact we know better. But I guess they should serve as the wind is to trees as a strengthening force to our faith and nothing more. Take care and may God bless you spiritually.

Or they say get a life.

Jesus said that those who believe in Him have everlasting life.
I AM the Bread of Life.
I AM the Way, the Truth & the Life.
I AM the Resurrection & the Life.

Jesus is the Living Bread! If any one eat of this bread any one shall live forever.

Say it loud & say it proud: JESUS IS THE LIFE!

Yes, well said. Today, many things stand in the way of God, the only Reality. They are none other than idols. The big battle, not of flesh and blood, but of principalities and powers, takes place in the mind. Who can see what is true and real, and who is subject to imagination. The world has many ways to substitute what is false for what is real and true, beginning in Eden. Only those that live in a selfish world of ego like to hear deception and accept it. But those that love the truth know and recognize the voice of the Shepherd.

Good soldier of Jesus Christ
2Tm:2:1: Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
2Tm:2:2: And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.
2Tm:2:3: Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
2Tm:2:4: No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
2Tm:2:5: And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.
2Tm:2:6: The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.
2Tm:2:7: Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things.
2Tm:2:8: Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel:
2Tm:2:9: Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound.
2Tm:2:10: Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.
2Tm:2:11: It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him:
2Tm:2:12: If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:
2Tm:2:13: If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.
GOD BLESS

Oh my! See how they squeal! Mention the Holy name of God and Satan sends them running toward us. (For those who missed it, the question was; "How are you this morning"?) My answer is; Seeing that a bolder has been tossed into their pit of non-belief, I am heartened - mightily!
