Why does it always depend on some middleman? Some person who has a Hotline to Heaven that you don't have, or some person who has the Keys to the Kingdom? Some organization that makes a lot of tax-free dollars because they have a connection to the Divine that you, poor layperson, don't have?

Then should I bleach my hair or not? I really want to be a blonde for a bit. Anyone done it before? Please - some tips. On EXACTLY how to do it. I know nothing. All I know is I have some bleach and I probably shouldn't just pour it over my head and then jump into the shower.

Thanks you... :-D

#1, not too important, but please answer if you know
I just reached level 3 in the middle of the day, so since I started the day at level 2, does that meant that I still only get 40 answers?

#2 why do you spend time on R&S? What is it that makes you want to be apart of this forum, especially to you regulars...

I'm here because I want to make a difference, not just to peope who don't believe what I do, but to the other Christians who sometimes stray or need a word or two of encouragement

why should I or anyone else be punished for not believeing in people? Why would an omniscient being want my support yet be so ambiguous in asking for it?

I dont get it.

What if the universe wasn't created by the Big Bang? What if it was created by the collision of two multidimensional branes? Shouldn't you believe in M-theory just in case?

The oldest known evidence of homo-sapiens is about 200, 000 years old whilst the oldest fossils are about several billion years old. We know the age is correct because we understand nuclear physics and radio metric dating and if our understanding is not correct, then our nuclear power stations would not work. And if you say that a day to us is not the same as a day to God, so that means Gods days are somewhere in the order of billions of years of our time?

in it Jesus says he is the Christ but NOT the Messiah... go figure???? they are the same thing

see http://www.answering-islam.org/Green/barnabas.htm
The Gospel of Barnabas is promoted by Muslims as an original Gospel written by the man named Barnabas [1] who it is claimed was a disciple of Jesus (p. 2). Thus they claim it was written by a Jewish man in the 1st century A.D. who travelled with Jesus. If Barnabas really is the author then it is reasonable to expect that he would be familiar with the basic facts of Jewish life at this time. We will now consider this book to see if he does.

a/ Christ. The word (Christ) is the Greek translation for the Hebrew word (Messiah). Both these words when translated into English mean the Anointed One or the Chosen One. This word is not an obscure or rarely used word, on the contrary it is one of the most famous words in the Jewish and Christian religions. There is no doubt that a religious Jew like Barnabas would have been very familiar with this

I don't know if there's a God or not but I've always enjoyed figuring out humans, odd they are.

I like making people have to think and seeing how it works out. In life it's cool to watch them think their way out of something.

It claims Jesus traveled around the Galilea by boat to a list of cities which included some which were neither by the sea nor fishking villages

see http://www.answering-islam.org/Green/barnabas.htm
In chapters 20-21 of this book we are told about Jesus sailing to Nazareth and being welcomed by the seamen of that town. He then leaves Nazareth and goes up to Capernaum:

Jesus went to the sea of Galilee, and having embarked in a ship sailed to his city of Nazareth. ... Having arrived at the city of Nazareth the seamen spread through the city all that Jesus wrought (done) ... (then) Jesus went up to Capernaum (chaps. 20-21).

There is a major error in this account. Nazareth was not a fishing village, in fact it was about 14 km from the sea of Galilee and situated in the hills of a mountain range! [4]. Capernaum was the fishing village that Jesus arrived at with his disciples, not Nazareth [5]. Nazareth and Capernaum were two towns which Jesus often visited with his disciples

I have see an old show (I am sad to say) of South Park and it was about Scientology. This was my only exposure to "what they believe."
Could someone give me a good web site that has a brief overview (not a nine year reading session) on this?
I just want to educate myself a little.
Thanks.

Salaam, muslimahs.

In real life, I am contemplating reverting to Islam. I am not completely ready to make the change though, but would like to begin here with my avatar. (A small change, but symbolic to me.) I have noticed that some of you have what appear to be Yahoo avatars with your heads covered. Where are you finding these? I have searched through all the items but can't find anything that appears to be a headscarf.

Are these Yahoo items? Or are you creating avatars elsewhere and using them here?
