In the Bible, God instructed men to take the widows of their brothers as their own wives. (Onan was struck dead for spilling his seed rather than impregnating his brother's widow.) The Mormons following the laws of God marry the widows of their "brothers" in the church and provide for the children as well as the woman. Some deviants have corrupted this to mean a man can have as many wives as he pleases, of any age and status, but that's not how God said it was to be.
Most women in a plural marriage are happy to have the other wives to take care of things when they're sick or incapacitated. It has nothing to do with any mission.

To the contrary, an active and dedicated Mormon wife can do far much than many give her credit.

What's more, the LDS Church does not sanction or practice plural marriage, and hasn't done so since October 1890. Do some research before lambasting the faith. Such a narrative as yours puts it back on you.

No but it's a lot easier to sleep around if you have endorsements from God.
