Apologies for the morbid subject:
When people die some want specific rituals, or protocals adhered to so I just wanted some opions regarding this.
I was just wondering if you have any specific wishes, or requests regarding this subject, my question was inspired by this one.

I know its a touchy subject, it interested me though.

Just finishing high school , if that..But, discouraged college and higher education because Armagedon was ..right around the corner..? I have heard that before..Does your religion still do that? If not..what about all of those young JW's 25 or 30 years ago, that didn't get an education due to Armagedon coming any time now..Wonder what their lives are like now..

Satan being the epitome of evil and God the opposite. In Job we find the Devil reporting to God.When Jesus was on his last leg on the cross bearing the sins of man He could not look upon sin

According to the World Christian Encyclopaedia and verified through other independent research. There are at least 150 major world religions. Which contain at least one million followers for each religion. Since you only practice one of these religions. You have a 0.6% chance of having the correct religion. This also means there is a 99.4% chance you are practising the wrong religion. So how do you know for sure you belong to the right religion?
How can you be certain someone else will go to hell since not all religions have those beliefs?

Has anyone else noticed the similarities between Christian fundamentalism and Islamic fundamentalism?
1. Both claim to have 100% of the truth.
2. Both claim that everyone else is wrong and going to hell.
3. Both can and do lead to violence.
4.Both use a literalistic interpretation of their chosen scripture, which they claim is 100% infallible, and that all other scriptures are useless and evil.
5. Both are on the rise.
As far as I'm concerned, they're two sides of the same coin!

I know I do. If I had been aborted I would have gotten a free ride to heaven, since I would not yet have had time to sin against God. Also, the Pope says that's how it goes, and if that's what he says then that's how it is.

Now I have to praise God every Sunday and sing about him and worship him. I also have to be sure not to eat too much shellfish. Also, think of all the atheists that are going to hell. Wouldn't it have been better for them to have been aborted so they could go to heaven?

Why do you spend so much time condemning homosexuality, saying that it is a choice? Hypothetically, let's say all gay men turned straight tomorrow. What would be YOUR chances of getting a date for Friday night then? Gay guys are better dressed, better groomed and just generally hotter than straight guys. Have you ever wondered why gay guys have so many female friends? Women LOVE gay guys. Ever heard the saying, all the best ones are gay? It's TRUE. Maybe you should spend less time condemning people for being gay and more time thanking God that they are. Because, trust me, you couldn't HANDLE the extra competition. Have you ever actually thought about it?

Why can't you let other people live their lives the way they choose? Certain things have no effect on you, other than selfish reasons, such as making you feel uncomfortable.

I believe that laws should be based on what is good for people who currently live this country, not what is good for them after they die.

Why can't you stick to your own principles and let other religions and non-believers stick to theirs?

I am not convinced by the evolution theory, there are too many "ifs", "buts", "assumptions" and too many variations in the length of times when things were supposed to have taken place.

My question for a serious answer is:

If we originally started as (or became) a single celled, one gender amoeba like creature, whose reproductive system was an efficient splitting of the cell. Why today do we have a less efficient system involving two genders and in human terms a lengthy wait for results, coupled with an often painful experience?

Also could you explain how two genders have evolved alongside each other, whilst being compatible with each other?

I have to wonder if this person is serious. Do people honestly get their info about us from the movies?

"I don't think I'd care for it... I don't know much about witchcraft... I have watched enough movies though that it creeps me out... Besides I think people would make fun of my daughters if they were flying around on broomsticks all the time."

The last thing in the world I would be is Christian as it is today or yesterday. I do believe that there is a true religion that you can call whatever you like. I have to remind you, just as soon as I said that other churches are indebted to the Catholic church, if your church really believes in Christ, you started calling me Catholic. Can someone tell me what does Jesus have to do with Christ?

My wife is very banal and has brought Jesus Christ into our home. I consider her an average woman who I'm moderately happy to have in my life. She is a lucky woman.

My girlfriend is from Seoul on a work visa, and she is a devout Buddhist. You know, that "I love trees" sort of stuff with flowers and chanting. Whatever.

Anyway, I've been brought to both of these ladies through my relationship with Jesus Christ. He wanted me to have a male heir to my family business, and hopefully one of those ladies comes through big time. So far I'm 0 for 2.

I know my benign wife will baptize our child in the image of Jesus, but how can I convince my Korean temptress to reconsider her lifestyle and bring our child into the kingdom of the Lord?

Don't judge me! God loves me and thinks I'm a pretty good guy. Girls adore me and it's a fault I live with every day.

Good luck to you. :)

Okay, with your whole theory of evolution thing, can you explain how life came into a nonliving world? As far as I can see, every living thing needs life to create it. Even if we are descended from bacterium, how did those bacterium come into existance? Life wasn't here on Earth from the beginning of time, so how does a non-living particle magically gain life? I honestly want to know.

If it is so easy to discount and disbelieve in other peoples' gods, why is it so hard for so many theists to take that one final step towards complete atheism?

1 Chronicles 16:30: “He has fixed the earth firm, immovable.”

Psalm 93:1: “Thou hast fixed the earth immovable and firm ...”

Isaiah 45:18: “...who made the earth and fashioned it, and himself fixed it fast...”

*********************************************************************

Can anyone explain these passages? I'm a Christian so I'm looking for something more than "The Bible was written by idiots. Get over it."

I love him with all my heart but why did he need a to rest on the 7th day of creation? What did Satan do to get cast out of heaven? Did go give us free will?? Why did he ask Cain, where his brother was?? ( didn't he know)

He is who he is, he is the alpha and the omega.
but I have many questions as you can see.
