Because God said so. I don't know -- ask Him!
"Kyralan," I've taken nearly 5 months of embryology and I can tell you without hesitation that this is a myth. If you look at the embryo of a very young fetus, it may appear somewhat female to the naked eye (no pun intended), but histologically it's a male.
EDIT: Looks like several people believe this. Here's a good place to start researching this issue: http://embryology.med.unsw.edu.au/Notes/urogen.htm
>>>>>DEKE SEZ: I just got an email from deleted R&S answerer Deke -- he says men have nipples because that's where they connect the jumper cables. (Hey, blame him not me.)

Nope
No explaination, other than GOD CREATED MAN IN HIS OWN IMAGE
We don't actually KNOW that ADAM had nipples or that either Adam or Eve had belly buttons.
That can be a biproduct of mating.
It is entirely possible man didn't have nipples and neither man nor woman had belly buttons but as a result of SEXUAL reproduction, as opposed to GOD creation, these things happened.
That, of course, would prove evolution.
Isn't that a strange paradox!

I think it's because everyone starts out as a women....(in a sense, before they're even born). I got this answer from "Why do men have nipples?" I kid you not! That is a real book, a family friend gave it to my family as a joke! lol...=P Here's a link: http://www.amazon.com/Nipples-Hundreds-Questions-Doctor-Martini/dp/1400082315/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/103-9838592-5267812?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1183144867&sr=8-1

The main thing that seperates men from women is estrogen and testoserone wich are the tue chemicals that give us our gender otherwise we are both human and evolved the same way. it is not like where two different species. Give a man estrogen and he will start turning into a woman.

It's very simple. The nipples are formed while the child is still in the womb, before the reproductive organs are formed (before the child is either male or female). Men have them because women need them.

Genetically speaking we develop asexually until our xy or xx chromo becomes dominant.
Really the question you should be asking is does 'god' have nipples?

Men have nipples because the default form for human babies is female. ALL babies are female first. Males only come about through the introduction of further hormones late in their prenatal development. There's nothing biblical about it--it's science & it's proven.
