I'm sure most of us pray repeatedly throughout the day, but do you have a certain favorite time, that you really enjoy and look forward to praying? I do. My time is very early in the morning, just after waking up but before I open my eyes and get up. If you haven't tried praying in the first waking moments of the day, I recommend it very highly. It really makes the whole day go WAY better! What are some other times that you've found prayer especially rewarding?
Blessings to you!

You see a starving un-saved person. You can only do one thing:

1) Tell them about Christ

2) Give them food

You can only do one

just curious if you all baptize in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost or if you baptize in Jesus name or if you do both ways or if you do a different way all together?

I have some proof here that shows that he was indeed God.Luke 3:21-22,Now when all the people were baptized,it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying the heaven was opened and the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him and a voice came from heaven, which said thou art my beloved son in thee I am well pleased.

Those words were straight from the mouth of God.still don't believe?Read Luke 1:26-35

A woman we know has a boyfriend who claims to be an atheist/agnostic/spiritualist. Does this make any sense? How can you be all three at the same time? Or is he just seriously unsure of what the heck he believes in? Or perhaps just an idiot (which we highly suspect)?

Suppose you had identical twins who had the same profession, both worked as midwives, both had herb gardens and know how to use herbs to cook tasty meals and make nice sachets. Both know the scientific properties of crystals. Both meditated. Both were kind and generous and thoughful.

One called herself a Witch, the other didn't. Neither was a Christian. Would one offend you just because of the use of the word "Witch?" If so, why, other than saying the Bible says it is wrong. I would like your opinion without citing the Bible, if you could please? Thank you.

Ok..I used to be very depressed...all the time. I beleived in "God"..did what I "knew was right"...read the Bible...took instuction in church every Sunday....still depressed with a very very crappy life!...THEN I stopped....I stepped back, learned what others beleive to be true or not to be true and decided that "God" could very well be a fairey tale...
My depression lifted, my life became more balanced and evened out...I started "preying" to myself and life changing thinks started to happen.
Would this be my evidance that there is no "God"?..The evidance that people want so bad here?

"I'm a one-God Apostolic, tongue-talking, holy-roller, born-again, Heaven-bound believer in the liberating power of Jesus' name. I've been washed in the blood, sanctified by the spirit, I believe in holiness and I suggest you do the same. I was set free at an Apostolic altar on my knees so you'll pardon me if I'm not ashamed to be a one-God Apostolic, tongue-talking, holy-roller, born-again, heaven-bound believer in the liberating power of Jesus' name

I find it interesting that scholars are unimpressed with it and say there are many errors, yet the JWs believe they have restored the bible....

What do you think?
