I asked this question before, but I really would like to know. It's a survey question, and I'd like to hear thoughts and experiences if anyone as any.

How do you deal w/ "verbal abuse" regarding your God and/or your religion when people write disrespectful responses to your questions? Do you ignore it, challenge it or fight it?

He taught people that love, caring, and forgiving people is most important. To worship God and not help your neighbor when they need help is phoney. To know the Torah but not to treat poor people and deformed people with compassion is useless.Jesus taught love.If a neighbor attacts you He taught people how to fight them in the spiritual realm,Not to kill or hurt but to command satan to leave out of them.It works.I have done it.Did you know that the people that were tortured the worse in life that have a good heart will witness for Jesus to the death. It is because when Jesus saved them they felt so worthless and Jesus gave them love and peace that they never knew existed.Jesus is the only one that can give you eternal peace and eternal love. What purpose would I have in saying these thing if it were not to help someone.Im not doing this for money or to be boastful.I sin.I make mistakes like everyone else.Im no guru.I am a regular person that lived a life of hell. And one night Jesus saved me

Why can't people except the inevitable. We will all DIE someday. Why commit yourself to something with no proof, (and proof against it, i.e. science), with intense clashes (religious wars), and that helps absolutley nobody but the people who promote it (they financially reap the benifits)? Maybe only the strong realize that we will all die someday and whatever happens happens? God or no god, I think he'll judge whether or not we were good people, not how we spend two hours on a sunday.

So, I have this religious debate with this atheist...no problem, i've had debates before. She starts saying how reciprocal altruism proves there is no God and i just said that the theory goes against Darwin's survival of the fittest. hey, i could be wrong here. it's up for interpretation. but, in true atheist form, she goes nuts. she starts saying i'm ignorant because i dont believe in a scienfically accepted theory, then asks me if i believe in the theory of gravity. when i told her that gravity is a law, unlike evolution, she insulted me more and said you can never prove science, only disprove it. i mean, i love a good debate but why does it have to get so personal? she ended up getting very upset even though in ever raised my voice or insulted her, and she left as if i was beneath her and not smart enough to even carry on a debate with. Is this behavior really necessary? Why attempt to debate christians if you aren't willing to accept different views? bad manners!!!

I have a question pertaining to religion, you see my sister has become extremly religious lately and she has been trying to get me to read the bible and stuff when she talks to me on the phone she begins to rant & rave almost to where she is preaching but in a very scary way.

I guess my question is is it bad to question GOD? Such as how it relates to science, evolution, and other things such as extra terestrial life other life forms on other planets etc.

Is it wrong to think that the religion we have today is so confusing because there are way too many different types?

Budism
Jahova
Catholic
Christian
as so on etc.

You see my family is a mixture many different ethnicities and we have within our family many different religions and growing up it was extremely confusing because each family Aunts, Uncle etc. did and practiced differently.

I personally feel that the way it is presummed to be of how Jesus & GOD came about may be wrong. I honestly feel NOONE

Or do they want to IMPOSE their ideas of "freedom" on them.....

I know dozens who would not take it off even if their husbands told them to.

They do it for GOD -- like Nuns who dress modestly for their GOD.

It really hurts to be shunned (disowned and ignored) by your own family. It's a form of torture and I'd like to know what gives them the right to torture others ?

Christ so they don't have to deal with their sin and can be his equal, and say the Holy Spirit is not a person of the Godhead so they can listen to their voice and say they are gods, therefore not answerable to anyone but themselves. Even saying they are the real Christians to displace the real ones and calling the real ones satan. Is this true. A mormon please. Do you really pray to Joseph SMith not God, even when in your Bible it says, pray this way, "Our Father who is in heaven, Thy will be done--not yours. You have to hear His voice to know His will.

Sir Isaac Newton said that 2060 was the end of the world. Who believes that? It's really scaring me because I really do not want the world to end...
They said that he studied the bible for 50 years, used math and some kind of formula.. and came to the conclusion that the world would end in 2060?
Is there any new information about this stuff?
I also want to know...doesn't it say in the bible that "no man would know when the world would end"? Something along those lines? So if he studied the bible and believed in in so much...why would he think he could figure it out?

I know you Jew's do not recognize Jesus as the Messiah. So if Jesus is not the Messiah, then what are you looking for in a Messiah, and if Jesus wasnt the Messiah, how would you know the Messiah when you saw him. Also, what does your religion think of Jesus Christ.

it is not about LITERAL of Metamorphic.

it is about, "if the catholic church can even subject the Bible to its authority, and say that the bible is not 100% true, what else can it say??"

maybe the catholic will start to say that there are many gods??
or that protestant christians are terrorists?

to catholics who really have doubts about the catholic church, i urge you to go to a bible-believing evangelical christian church! read your own BiBLE!

There is no doubt that their religious beliefs are absurd with contradictions like the organ transplant policy. People have died in vein because of their ‘changing ‘policies’ so why does the legal system let them deny their children blood if they need it? The child is a minor and unable to decide for themselves. What if it was in my religion to deny my child proper amounts/kinds of food? What if he/she began to come to school unhealthy and ghastly skinny from malnutrition, wouldn't child services be called and the child taken away from his/her parents?

Some of them will say, 'the blood can contain disease, they have blood substitutes. Okay, so they say, well, "They can die now and not take the blood because they have a 2% chance of contracting a deadly disease from the blood." Blood substitutes/fractions will not provide the necessities!!!

How do Jehovah's Witnesses avoid having their children being taken away from them and out of their jurisdiction when they deny them blood transfusions? Why should the child die just because their parents are too blind and ignorant to realize there beliefs are bull crap?
