I was just scrolling through old questions about the Mormon church (correctly called the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) and I noticed something I found quite interesting.
Almost everyone that bashed the LDS faith, or described our 'weird' beliefs, quoted sites and references not of LDS origin.
Doesn't it make more sense to ask the LDS people, then to ask the people that have a reason to dislike our religion?
For example, if I have questions about Catholicism, I am not going to ask a Baptist preacher. I'm going to ask a Catholic priest.
So doesn't it make sense to do the same with Mormons (or for any religion, for that matter)? Why would we lie about our beliefs, after all there are so many different types of religions in the world, it's not like we're the only different point of view out there.
