If yes, then:
Isn't it better for the people to have a '' pattern '' to follow?i mean religion is a source of morality that a HUGE amount of people wouldn't have if there weren't any religion around.
i know religion isn't a ''true'' sources of morality, sometimes the opposite. Plus, there are a lot of other sources of morality.
But isn't it better and convenient for the poor people to have this ''pattern'' of what is right? i mean, a lot of people are good because they think they are going to heaven. Why should we ruin that, and take away what they keep them out of ''delinquency''?

I was just scrolling through old questions about the Mormon church (correctly called the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) and I noticed something I found quite interesting.

Almost everyone that bashed the LDS faith, or described our 'weird' beliefs, quoted sites and references not of LDS origin.

Doesn't it make more sense to ask the LDS people, then to ask the people that have a reason to dislike our religion?

For example, if I have questions about Catholicism, I am not going to ask a Baptist preacher. I'm going to ask a Catholic priest.

So doesn't it make sense to do the same with Mormons (or for any religion, for that matter)? Why would we lie about our beliefs, after all there are so many different types of religions in the world, it's not like we're the only different point of view out there.

i have asked the jewish, and they don't even need the sacrifice for forgiviness, they can simply ask God for forgiviness.

- now if you still have to repent and ask for forgiviness, then what was the point of Jesus sacrifice? otherwise you are doing it just to be nice, not because "You Have To".

- are good people equal to bad people, such as everyone is forgiven?

I have heard that God blesses and rewards people are these blessings for on earth or in heaven or both? I prayed to God because I was not able to have something I truly desired and I gave God the core of my being and gave him my best and asked him to reward me for doing this, the reward I would like is not so much temporal or material but to ask God to reveal to me the reason why I could not have kids, is it wrong to ask God for rewards? The last thing I want to be is arrogant before the Lord.
Thank you and God bless you for posting.

Like the FAA, FTC, USDA, SEC, etc. in the USA? Shouldn't there be regulatory bodies to regulate religions and protect citizens from religious abuses?

if Jesus was giving himself as a sacrifice, why was he hidding from the authority at that time?. and if you said "because it wasn't his time". then why didn't he let one of his followers do it instead?

Why does this myth persist? Where did it originate? Some people believe we worship statues. We do not. Some people think we put Mary in the place of God. We do not. Some say we do not read the Bible but we do. Would it not just be better to thoroughly understand your own church than it is to attack our faith? Is it possible that attacks like these make atheists and agnostics uninterested in Christianity altogether? Would it be better for us all to work together sheltering the homeless, feeding the hungry, and promoting world peace? I think so. Peace be with you all.
