Not every word of the bible is the word of god. I'm a chrisitan and don't believe so. I truly do not believe in inerrancy, or something like that...

Do you have any particular examples, or are you just generalizing? A lot of Christians on this forum know their Bibles when they mention scripture. It's usually the unbelievers who take it out of context to try to DISPROVE our beliefs.....
EDIT:
AH, well that explains it. If you don't even believe the Bible is inerrant, you wouldn't think it's Words wise then, now, would you? You contradict yourself if you think you can be a Christian and call God's Word a LIE.

Maybe? However, the bible is the word of God, as He directed (divinely inspired) some 44 men over the course of some 1600 years! Personally, I 'throw out' as you put it, not the verses, but refer you to the whole Bible,for I prefer people to look up the scriptural proof of what I'm saying for themselves, in both the Old and New Covenants(Testaments). Many won't believe for the 'hardness of their hearts' against the God of glory and His eternal word, if I did throw out the pertinent verses!
Besides, there's no requirement anywhere written down that all peoples that quote Bible verses need to be scholars of the Bible as well! Even a child that believes in God can and they surely do often, quote their verses.
