How do you figure He was hiding. When He enter Jerusalem that week He enter the city with quite a fanfare. Luke 19:34-39. Then when in Jerusalem He entered the Temple and drove out those who used the Temple as a "den of thieves". Luke 19:45-47 He taught in the Temple daily and the priests, scribes and leaders wanted to destroy Him then, but there were too many people who were attentive to Him. Then He stayed in the city and celebrated the Passover with His disciples. He later goes to the garden of Gethsemane to pray. It was not hard to find Him.

Jesus was not hiding but escaping for another day. Scripture had to be fulfilled with Jesus as well as every other prophesy. The Old Testament said Isaiah 53:12 "He was numbered with the transgressors." Two thieves were crucified one on each side of Him. The Old Testament prophesy of Isaiah the Prophet had to come true. Jesus was despised and rejected. Jesus was wounded for our sins. Jesus was beaten for our iniquities. Jesus back with its stripes where he was beaten by the soldiers is our healing "with His stripes we are healed." God laid on Jesus
the sins of us all. He opened not His mouth and He was brought as a lamb to the slaughter. Jesus made His grave with the wicked and the rich man in His death. Jesus did no violence. There was no deceit in His mouth. Yet it pleased God to bruise Him to make Him an offering for our sins. Jesus justified many for he bore our sins. You would have hid. I would have hid, but Jesus had to go through all of this so we could have life eternal hereafter.

I'm not a Christian, as many on Answers know, but I can't let this pass. What Jesus did was a very human trait. He went to the Garden in order to set his affairs straight in his own heart before facing the inevitable. This and his appearance before Pontious Pilote were Jesus' ending occaisons of humanity before the suffering of loss of Judas' soul to fulfill his disciples role, and the physical pain of tortures.

Did he hide? I dont think so. He went to a mountain to pray just before he was taken away. But every one knew where he was and i dont thinkg he hid, cos there wouldnt have been a point as one of His own decipels decieved Him, and many ppl whould have know where he was. That is why they found him on the mountain.

I think His deciples wanted to hide, but He wouldnt let them hide Him, or something like that.

God had an appointed time for the sacrifice of our Lord. His followers were not sinless,so could not provide a sinless sacrifice on the cross for mankind. Only God is without sin and able to redeem mankind from it.

When did Jesus ever Hide? If you are referring to Jesus when he was in the forest, He wasn't hiding he was praying. If he was hiding then don;t you think he would of ran when Judas and the soldiers came after him but he didn't he went with them willingly.

What type of question is this? No substance. No validity? Plain wrong assumptions.

Jesus sacrificed himself for the sins of all man. He died, rose, and ascended to God's right hand side. He is not hiding. He is interceding on our behalf. He's putting in work, so why don't you try and meet him halfway?

Jesus broke no laws, so He was not obligated to turn Himself in.

He was not hiding, he knew that Scripture would be fulfilled and that Judas would turn Him in, as it is stated.

Judas was one of His followers.

Jesus had work to do before he could be sacrificed, people started wanting to kill him very early in his ministry so he had to hide to a certain degree.
