I was having a discussion recently with someone about Mormonism's stance that after the ressurrection, spirit and body are together for eternity as a physical entity. The other person claimed this is a more or less unique belief. I'm sure there are other Christian systems that believe eternity is spent in a body, so I'm just looking for some that do.

...God IS Forgiveness and I am a child of God. Therefore the gift of Forgiveness has already been given to me...I just need to accept it. Once I forgive myself, I am allowing others to forgive me as well. Right?...

Why does everything value following a book (bible) that tells you to think ONE way (cult-like)....or else you will burn in a firey hell for eternity? Where has the value of individuality gone in our society? The ability to think for oneself and to question the validity of others?

In her answer to this question, user "Jan P" suggests that God may have caused a man to suffer a car wreck so that circumstances could be shuffled about to her advantage. She claims events transpired in such a way because she prayed and God answered her prayer.

Does anyone else feel this is how God operates?

from a previous question most christian approved that holyspirit already existed during Jesus, so if holyspirit already existed during Jesus time, then who is the another comforter?

John 14:16
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

Jesus here is talking about someone different than the holyspirit. Jesus here is talking about someone new different than the holyspirit, someone that the world still don't know him yet:

look carefuly at this verse, the words of Jesus:
John 16:7
Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

a comforter = someone who will come after Jesus to testify of him, and teach people about the law of God.

The university professor challenged his students with this question. “Did God create everything that exists?” A student bravely replied, “Yes, He did.!” “God created everything?” the professor asked. “Yes sir”, the student replied.
The professor answered, “If God created everything, then God created evil, since evil exists, and according to the principal that our works define who we are, then God is evil.”
The student became quiet before such an answer. The professor, quite pleased with himself, boasted to the students that he had proven once more that the Christian faith was a myth.
Another student raised his hand and said, “Can I ask you a question professor?”
“Of course”, replied the professor. The student stood up and asked, “Professor, does cold exist?” “What kind of question is this? Of course it exists. Have you never been cold?” The students snickered at the young man’s question.; The young man replied, “In fact sire, cold does not exist. ...

The Bible also warns of hell, but proclaims Jesus as mankind's sinless mediating redeemer - God incarnate who atoned for the sin of the world at the Calvary. Jesus is the One who saves from judgment everyone who confesses his or her sinfulness and asks forgiveness throught Him.

Islam, conversely, has no redeemer, no mediator and no forgiveness guarantor. Under Islam, every human defendand in God's court must face the ultimate judge without the help of an advocate. Hence, under Islam, there can be no assurance regarding one's eternal destiny.

According to the Koran, any individual's prognosis is gloomy at the best. Even Muhammed doubted his chance of entering paradise.

Tell me your thoughts.

lol.

Who tested this hypothesis?

Apparently, they're not getting the whole deal on prayer in the Bible.

Please:

I'm sure you've had unanswered prayers before.

Name what you prayed for, how you prayed for it, and what kind of circumstance you were in at the time.
