Satan in the garden of eden?

for one Satan wasn't in the garden it never says that the serpent was Satan lol and god punished all serpents why when he could have punished Satan

Yes he was. John identifies this as Satan in Revelation 12:9, 20:2 as did Paul in 2corinthians 11:3.
