Is he a conjured figment of our imagination that a wide majority of persons believe in, or does he exist, as a being or otherwise, and therefore we worship him?

I am so sick of hearing about God.
Don't cheat, it's a sin.
Don't steal, you'll have to answer to God later if you do.
Blah, blah, blah

Why can't we just behave, because it it the right thing to do? I find it sickening that humans are such an "advanced" form of life, yet we still (in great numbers) believe in fairy tales.
Does anyone else feel the same way???

I'm so tired of the rules and regulations placed upon me by a church that I do not agree with. My friends and are all pagan and wish to stay that way. My only problem is, how do I tell my parents? Do I just not? Even my possible boyfriend is pagan. I'm so tired of christian beliefs being forced on me, when I don't believe in them. I'm pro-choice, I'm for gay marriage, I like vanity, lust, greed...it's what makes me human. And to be told that it is wrong by someone else is...in itself WRONG....so how do I explain this to the people that I live with? My parents? My grandmother? Help!!! (I am straight by the way LoL, some people believe that others are for gay marriage simply because they too are gay)... I'm not going to hell because I don't believe in hell, so how can one religion condemn me to a place I do not believe in?

Obviously there are many who disagree with Mormonism; if so what do you feel is the most difficult/outrageous Mormon belief to accept?

Shouldn't we make sure we are okay with God first? Shouldn't we follow God and not man? Have you ever considered in the light of things that you should stop trying to answer the world and remember we only have to answer to God? So what if you don't believe in evolution. Do you need to even justify that to mere man at all? Who is man compared to God and why do so many Christians care about what an evolutionist thinks about them? Shouldn't we be sharing the gospel and not arguing about it? Shouldn't we be saving souls?

It is more a tradition than a faith. It is more politics than a faith. In fact, it is more $$$ than a faith.

YOUR Christianity: from panking chilgren, lie and profanity to kills and murders. Do you remember that you are Christians? Or just on Sundays and Holiday?

Did anyone else notice a sense of desperation among the Evangelicals? Homeschooling their children, hiding them from social contact with non-believers (except to proselytize), pushing beliefs at a very early age, blessing the president, teaching ultra conservatism without teaching alternate viewpoints, etc.... going to extremes.
Does anyone else get the feeling that they realized they might just be on the "religious endangered species list"?

.. hair? I feel that a man without hair is like a tree without leaves.

When/ If I ever have a son, he won't have to cut his hair.

I don't want a debate, I merely seek to understand the Catholic view of indulgences. Like, why it is believed in, etc.

I know they do not acknowledge holidays, and don't do gifts. I was just wondering though, because my neighbor did a very kind thing for my family while my mother was ill, and I'd like to show my gratitude with a small gift, but do not want to offend. Anyone know the practices?

Why do people think Jesus is some white dude with blue eyes?
It's pretty absurd. Jesus wasn't a white dude, nor was he a Black dude, as they like to depict him in Black churches. He was a Jew from the Middle East -- that means he was semetic-looking! He probably had the skin tone of a modern-day Arab. Does that notion bother a certain kind of Nascar Christian?
Oh, and since we're on the subject: why is he now depicted as being totally cut, and having 6 pack-abs? Every time I see a statue of Christ on the cross, he's got the sort of body of someone who spends 30 hours a week working out, and who eats Atkins!

I'm not asking what certain religions believe, I'm asking what YOU believe. I think that we all return to heaven for eternity (If we believe that Jesus died for our sins.) If we didn't, then our souls float around as ghosts on the earth until the day of judgement...then they will burn in the fiery depths forever.
