What does religion say about men with long...?

.. hair? I feel that a man without hair is like a tree without leaves.

When/ If I ever have a son, he won't have to cut his hair.

I have decently long-ish hair, but I'm going to grow dreadlocks down to my mid-back.

I have long hair. I don't see how hair makes you feminine, I doubt that punk above would say that to my face!
Maybe if I was insecure about my sexuality I might care more, but I say, Grow Your Dreadlocks. Long hair (uncut) is considered the mark of a holy man in many cultures.

Samson had long hair beause of a vow. The nazarites had long hair because of a vow. The verse about the one about men having long hair says, " Judge for yourselves: Is it proper for a woman to pray to God with her head uncovered? Does not the very nature of things teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a disgrace to him, but that if a woman has long hair, it is her glory?"
It's asking a question but telling you to judge for yourselves.

there is no clear guide to how long is long in the BIble...

but I think a good rule of thumb is men should look masculine and women feminine. I think men should have shorter hair than their wives. If women have short hair you see allot of guys shave their heads to look masculine. Take a look at the guys at gyms today... shaved heads... allot of em.... If men have long hair women often have super long hair to look feminine. Recall the 60's

I though you were gonna write "penises" but regarding hair, Jesus had long hair, but it was considered inappropriate for a man to dress like or wear his hair like a woman, so if it is long like a woman's hair and styled like a woman's hair it is considered wrong.
