People can still receive indulgences.
Indulgences are not a license to sin whenever you want.
It is not a "get out of Hell card"
Indulgences are not forgiveness of sin.
All sin results in temporal punishment. Think of it as if you broke a window. You can receive forgiveness from the homeowner for breaking his window, but you are still expected to make restition for breaking the window. If we have not righted alll the wrongs we have done in this life, there is still time to pay in Purgatory.
Indulgences, usually in the form of practices, devotions, or acts of charity are ways of paying back for breaking that window and lessening your time in Purgatory.

The infallibility of the Pope is only when he is making a proclamation about the Church. It is not about his daily life, the prayers he says, or the things he does when it is not official.
For instance: If the Pope were to bet on a football game, and lose, that does not prove Papal Infallibility wrong.
Make sense?

Infallibility is only in regards to matters of Faith and Morals, and only applies when the Pope speaks 'ex cathedra'. One has nothing to do with the other.
