Everyone will have their own God created by man and kill those that believe or worship in a different way. Always have. Always will. ~

I couldn't imagine a world like that. I guess I'm not optimistic enough. What I can imagine is a world where people keep their religion to themselves and don't let it get in the way of getting along with others, and trying to work toward the progress of mankind. I don't think lack of religion would result in immorality, chaos, or anything like that.

nicely besides the reality that I believe some comments that's their comments ^_^ My opinion is that now we live in a pre-dominantly christian society and maximum superior countries understand to maintain it secular in the government. no longer something by using some distance is going to alter if this develop in Islam keeps. yet what i want to show out is, if Islam is this sort of undesirable faith as you all presume WHY are there converts? shouldn't there be greater apostates, or in the event that they're "hiding" besides the reality that Islam does no longer kill apostates because of the fact that's their decision and doing so could bypass against the classes, does no longer the present inhabitants who're muslims be the comparable? Or bypass down? No, each and every physique is changing on their very own will and a great selection ensue to be self sufficient females. Its a shame to establish the couplings of the words terrorist, oppressed and evil to be with Islam. i actually like it and its teachings and that i've got faith my faith is bigger whilst human beings probably hurl uneducated insults at it. human beings say once you seem in the Qur'an the 1st pages are violence. the place is the data? What violence? This pre-conceived view on Islam is basically feed by using the bigoted comments of national heads and the terrorists themselves who supply all the rightly guided muslims a bad call. it quite is my opinion. :]

That is unhealthy imagination. The world without religion is like the head with no brain. From eternity to eternity, man has been created and will continue to live under both physical and spiritual suns.

Well because the vast majority of religions oppose science and stifle creativity: I could imagine it'd be a world were civilization be a hell of a lot more technologically advanced. Maybe there'd be colonies on Mars by now. Maybe by now we would have had cures for things like cancer because instead of praying for miracles to happen, we'd have already made them happen.

I'm picturing something much like on Star Trek, a humanistic society.

Just picture what the world would have been like with no suicide bombers, no 9/11, no Crusades, no witch-hunts, no Israeli/Palestinian wars, no Serb/Croat/Muslim massacres, no persecution of Jews as 'Christ-killers,' no Northern Ireland 'troubles,' no Dark Ages, etc... No JW's knocking on your door at 7 am waking you up. No churches cutting down old growth trees to make way for their mega churches and parking lots. No one trying to legislate their morality and force it on the rest of us. No one trying to hinder teaching science to children. The list goes on and on.

That's what they said would happen in the 20th century. It didn't. There's as much religion today as before.

Ah, the old delusion that religious equals morality.

There would be less to fight about, I think. And when we went to war it would be over more "honest" reasons such as need for resources, territory, or simple survival. No religious scandals of corruption or massive stupidity...just ordinary corruption and stupidity. The acendancy of science, and the fall of superstition.

A world without Christianity would be a world full of corruption, ego centric behavior and lies.

Just like living in Seattle today!

People would be just as pitted against each other, but for different reasons, but there would be much interest in science and discovery.

Imagine billions of dollars pouring into scientific research to help people.

Imagine the end of religious wars, fatwahs, crusades, etc.

Imagine people reading more than one book, and reaching their intellectual potentials.

Imagine .

I cannot imagine such a thing.
God loves everyone whether they have religion or not. It is not about religion but having a relationship with God!
