Shouldn't we make sure we are okay with God first? Shouldn't we follow God and not man? Have you ever considered in the light of things that you should stop trying to answer the world and remember we only have to answer to God? So what if you don't believe in evolution. Do you need to even justify that to mere man at all? Who is man compared to God and why do so many Christians care about what an evolutionist thinks about them? Shouldn't we be sharing the gospel and not arguing about it? Shouldn't we be saving souls?

If you don't agree as a Christian, than tell me this. What did Jesus die for if you won't spread the word of His death for others and are more concerned with pleasing eachother instead of pleasing God?

Pheonix In order for us to follow God and not be decieved by man, one would have to have knowledge that man will eventually lead us wrong and we will believe a bunch of hog wash over what God says. God was warning us about deciet and I am sure there is deciet in Science.

One could say that the early Christian martyrs died because what they believed was not politically correct. And here we are again today moving into the same situation.
Organized religion has made the accommodation from the top down. Be not conformed to the world, but be transformed by the renewing of your spirit, is God's call.
You do your thing and I'll do mine and let's just all get along has always been a man made idea; resulting in short term success followed by ultimate failure and death.
Only those who agree in spirit and in truth can ever agree. The rest are worldly ideas put forward by a few for the subjection and death of the rest.

I have answered many questions pertaining to evolution here, not as a means to justify my own beliefs but share other truths! I personally could care less about people’s arguments over what is correct creationism & evolution. I simply try to bridge the gap with my opinions and responses. It is always take it or leave it.
"We" cannot save souls Christ with the Holy Spirit applies salvation. Unfortunately most unbelievers don't believe for a lack of evidence. While I cannot prove God with out a shadow of a doubt to an unbeliever, I can say with certainty that God is real, and why I believe it to be Truth. I do that by sharing my experiences & revelations within my personal relationship to God as evidence.
You should share the gospel! I try to answer all questions relating to Christianity to try to explain away the excuses that some make for not knowing God! People want a reason to believe before they will. You can tell the Gospel until you are blue in the face but that doesn't guarantee their acceptance of it as Truth.
People of all faiths and backgrounds as well as unbelievers all had questions for Christ which he answered honestly with love. As a reader of the Bible you should know that Christ wants us to be examples…to teach as he did. You need to try to understand as many and as much of Christ’s teachings to be effective. And Christ taught much more than just obtaining salvation… especially in regards to how he wants us to be while here on the planet.

okay first of all, you have to understand that not everyone believes the same way you do, even other denominations of christianity. If you truly want to share something like the gospel of someone, it takes sacrifice. It takes getting out of your comfort zone and keeping an open mind to that persons beliefs and an open heart to their feelings. You can't just go and say, hey are you saved? Instant turn off. so form the relationship first.
Secondly have you ever considered that God inately gave us science, even though science tries to disproove God and Christ and miracles, he gave us power to think, observe and solve problems, our society would not be as far as it is today without science, especially in modern medicine.
The power of thought and free will also come from him so that allows us to think question deny accept any subject. every individual has their own thing with God, in one way shape or form. But just because you believe in the bible and are hellbent in your ways does not make you right. yes you answer to God first but in order to spread the gospel you have to first love the person who you're trying to share it with, that takes time.
Also if you keep an open mind, you learn more, you decide things for yourself, but you become more loving to others as you go.

I'm a Christian and I believe in evolution... that does not make me one or the other. I feel there is meaning beyond the words that people quickly skim through so there is room for evolution in there because who's to know what a day meant to God.
I'm not sure if I get your point, do you want us to speak up or not? I don't have to justify myself to anyone, but if I am being insulted I will step up and say something. Otherwise I have no strength to continue on as I am. If we do not defend ourselves then we are giving in to another's opinion of what we should be.

The problem here is that evolution happens. So, if you believe in God, then you would believe that God makes evolution happen. In denying evolution, you are denying an integral part of God's creation of earth. So, really, you're failing to answer to God by "disbelieving" evolution.
You have strayed from God's works and now follow what man tells you in church rather than what God tells you through the world and nature and scientific observation. I think you need to follow your own advice and answer to God, if that is what you believe.

The reason for Christianity being so "PC" is to garner more worshipers. Appealing to more people on levels they can realte to is the way to get more followers. Christianity in it's beginning attracted many Pagans because it based many of it's holidays on Pagan holidays, but renamed them and changed the meanings slightly. Perfect example - Christmas. December 25th was a major Pagan holiday which Christians could not get the Pagans to stop celebrating. So they Made December 25th Jesus' "birthday" thus getting the Pagans to convert to Christianity.

Accommodating your beliefs? I have not found that to be the case. What I see are Christians trying to push their beliefs into the political realm, prayer in school, creationism taught in science class, outlawing abortion, preventing gay marriage...the list goes on.
No, the church should not be trying to be "PC", but christians, like everyone else, should feel an obligation to live in peace with people of different faiths, as well as people who do not subscribe to a religion.
You can believe whatever you want, and I won't have a problem with that. But keep your own religious beliefs out of the schools and government that's supposed to work for ALL of us, not just people of one religious faith.

Many people do not want to make waves.
We do not want to stir up people, so they will not like us and even persecute us.
It is because we are to self centered and do not love others enough.
