1. Christians are totally confused. You have Jehovah's witnesses saying one thing and other christian religions saying another thing.

NObody can agree on what the bible teaches!!! Although I agree more with Jehovah's Witnesses.

2. Evolution theory kind of makes sense. With muTations, natural selection, etc..., But i'm still not convinced, there is lack of evidence and just a whole bunch of theories hoping and wishing to erase God. These guys don't compromise, they are convinced the bible is a lie and God does not exists.

3. There are a billion other religions out there....and everyone thinks they are on the correct religion!!!!!

Whats going on!!!!!!

Why is everyone so confused????

I WANT TO KNOW THE TRUTH!

Why doesn't God come out and tells us what the truth is so that we may know it and fight for it?

I would wordship God, but what if he does not exists???? Or is it SATAN causing all this confusion????

We have freedom of religion yet in still for the most in America you have to be a Chirstain or some other religion of sort to be view has normal. Peolpe should talk about different religious views. An atheist is not a person who hates God, how can you say you're an atheist by admitting that God exist because you hate him or it. Atheism means without religion or the belief of God or gods. So in all it means without theism. That's what it means, and you can still be a moral person and have values has an atheist. The respect of humanity is the main value of being a true Atheist.

I mean the only things that tell us about God are the Bible and similar books and what people make up. Neither of those sources are credible. Why can't we just except that we don't know who/what created the universe?

To win someone over?

Lets PRETEND for a minute I despise Atheists and Homosexuals, becuase I think they are full of sin. By telling them they are evil, bound for Hell, but God loves em, am I going to win them over?

OR, is it better to say, Well, I may not agree......and then continue to know them, and love them anyway, and let God deal with the rest?

How often does rudness, and condemnation actually win someone over, when it comes to religion?

(I said PRTEND because I do not feel that way, check my previous Q&A)

In the Watchtower publication Life-How did it get here. We are told that a day as presented to us in genesis is actually a long period of time like a thousand years and not a literal day as in a solar day of 24 hours. When reading Genesis I have noted that the author of the scripture has indicated that the day is in the actually scripture as being from the rising of the son till the setting of the same. So the days as defined in Genesis are confined to a event involving a Sun and the function of that son compared to a days length. So how is this a greater period then a 24 hour day. The scripture states evening and morning another indication of a literal solar day. Now we have 7 days shown to us in Genesis and in 6 day God rested from his works.

In Exodus 20:11 God himself wrote on tablets of stone, In six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth.

Could you explain to me how it is that the Jehovah's witness come up with a longer time then a day.

In my city the churches closes. Mosqueas are build instead. I am planning to get married and people consider I am crazy to do so. I always have to argue and explain why I practice my religion.
I personnaly think that Christian religion is the foundation of our society, am I the only one being afraid of the consequences of atheism and other religions?

Seriously, you're dead way longer than you're alive, so really being alive is only a tiny fraction of your existence. Yeah...that's it.

Both are religous symobols. This is not tolerance but promotes preferential treatment. BTW the Christmas tree is not a religous symbol so please don't equate it with a Nativity.

How can this be justified?
1st. They dressed as Indians but after five days they changed tactics.
2nd. Then they went a bit away ,dressed back into normal clothes and acted like the Rescue Party who had negotiated a deal with the"Indians".
3rd, Then confiscated all the guns as part of the deal for "saving" the travellers and Mormon dissidents( who were the reason for the attack in the first place).
4th. Took everybody off a mile or so and shot them all. 2 men got away but were eventually tracked down and killed a day or so later.
5th. Took the 17 children they had not killed back with them to Salt Lake City.
6th. Got away with it. After a publicized trial, witht childrens own testimony admitted into the court.

Please explain this to me, if you are Mormon. How this is told to you.
What are the justifications for this as in your church doctrine.

Because the Body is the temple not a building! Besides that; last time I visited my home church they didn't seem very excited to see me! I look alot different and that could be because I'm somewhat taking better care of myself than I used to. Seems like that would even make them happier! Why would people treat you like a stranger when you have visited your home church for the first time in a couple of years? Surely they recognized who I was! I look alot better than I used to, but they should have known it was me! I'm not a church hopper. I don't believe in going from church to church and so on. I mean I know your always gonna run into problems but hey! Did Christ go where people rejected him?

I know there will be people who say yes they know from experience He does because He has given them advice and guidance. What if I don't say something vague like 'Should I be a good person?' what if I say 'Why is reality so probalistic at the subatomic level' or 'Does space have hidden spatial dimensions that interact with ordinary matter?' - Will he answer then? If not, why? Is God stupid?

It has been around for 2000 years, yet, it seems that the world despises the Catholic church for not allowing gay-marriage, abortion, contraception, etc., as a result, throughout history, many have broken away to start their own denominatons. Can you blame the Catholic church for upholding God's law instead of the world's desires?

2 tim. 4:3 "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires."
