Seriously, you're dead way longer than you're alive, so really being alive is only a tiny fraction of your existence. Yeah...that's it.

When I say "exist" I mean the material that makes up your body.

Depending on what you mean by existence you may be right or wrong.

My Body has been completely rebuilt several times in my life. There are probably very few atoms if any that still dwell in my body that were there when I was born. So in a sense, I am the atoms then yes the life that the atoms provided was just a tiny fraction of their existence.

My individuality and ability to experience did not exist prior to my conception, and will no longer exist after I die. So this is all of it. No fraction 100%

I say this a lot- I ask people who do not believe in God, if they would rather live in this life, which is a fraction of eternal life, and not have Jesus, then go to hell for eternity, OR live this life for Jesus and believe in Him and His word and receive Heaven for eternity- is it worth it? Living in sin and doing what you want in this life? This life is passing and there is nothing more important than our eternal life in Christ Jesus. That is why Jesus tells us, who believe in Him to keep our minds on the things above. This life we live right now, is going to pass by so quickly, then comes eternity- where will you spend it? Heaven or hell? Seriously....I care about others and I really hope they think about this and take sin seriously- because there will be a judgment day for everyone....but those who are in Christ Jesus pass from eternal judgment (hell) into a good judgment according to how they lived, and be given Heaven! See Revelation 20.

Depends how you look at it. Some people think being alive is 100% of your existence.

i agree. that is very true: you live on this earth for less than a fraction of how long you will "live" as the dead. we will live on forever in the next life.

I agree and that is why the short time we have here should be used wisely in preparation for the life to come.
