There is but one true Bible, sir. The Holy Word of God. All others are cheap imitations, and will lead you to damnation. Read about Moses in the book of Genesis and the book of Exodus. The children of Israel made a golden calf and worshipped it while Moses was up in the mountain of God receiving the ten commandments from God. God punished them for this. The book of Revelation says that idolaters will have their place in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone. God will also punish people that do not believe in Jesus being the Son of God.

It is wrong to worship idols/images.
Exodus 20:4,5

1 John 5:21
They should not even be used as 'aids' in worship.

Jesus says, Men reject the commandment of God so that they may keep their own tradition.

Nowhere does God approve of any type of worship toward objects that are even of Himself.

God's 2nd commandment: "You shall not make for yourself a carved image or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above
or that is in the earth beneath or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them."

"Cursed is any man who makes any graven image or molten image it is an abomination to the Lord.” Lev. 26:1, Deut.27:15

While Catholics accept this practice of bowing in front of statues of Mary and Saints, God does not accept it, He forbids it.

“that you do not become corrupt and make for yourselves an idol, an image of any shape, whether formed like a man or a woman” Deut. 4:16.

In Ex.20:4-5 "God forbids anyone who follows Him to make images for use in their worship."

The golden calf that Aaron let the Jews make while Moses was getting the 10 commandments.

BUT, god told the people to make a staff with a snake on it and look at it to cure snake-bite. So which is it?
