God is just a myth. What people are doing when praying is searching their deeper subconcious for answers which are buried in theri mind. When they pray for something specific such as please make x who is ill better and the recover they thing their pray is answered and if they die then well god wanted them to come to heaven so either way the belief in some mythical diety is maintained

No, I don't ever recall God being stupid. I do find myself to be somewhat stupid in the fact that although I am a post-doctoral professor I think and do some very stupid things and have become more aware of the fact the more I know, the more there is toknow. The "old Book" says that "He puposely chose what the world considers nonsense in order to shame the wise". In fact the most humbling fact is that I have seen God answer the prayers of the poor and illiterate more often than my own!

I believe that God does answer prayers but not always to the way that we humans would always like.
If you ask God specific questions such as the ones you pose then I believe these would not be answered. He gave us brains so that we as humans, supposedly the superior of all animals on earth, may use our brains in order to develope the world to become a better place and to answer such questions ourselves.
Perhaps it is hard to believe that we are the supposed superior beings with what does go on in this world as a result of our intelligence e.g weapons of mass destruction, wars, rape , murder, child abuse etc etc etc the list goes on.
However we you contemplate the likes of the Greeks and Romans and what they have produce for this world and also the likes of Einstein then you realise what our brains are for.
It may also be argued that God is/was stupid by giving humas freedom of thought when we look at the state of this planet in all respects. But I say no to that, we, the human race are the stupid ones for letting the world become what it is because of greed of power, money, lust etc..
By the way I am not a religious person just a believer that we the human race have made all the **** ups.

The initial issue may involve more than the question would leave one to believe.
Yes, God does answer prayers.
No, God does not answer all "questions".
Thats easy to know just from reading the book of Job. Job was a righteous man in good standing with God and God still chose to not answer some of his questions.
Pray often has to do with conversing or having a conversation with God. To converse successfully with God often takes a relationship with God.
Many people who ask God questions and demand an answer either have a bad relationship or no relationship with God.
Also, people that God blesses often have supernatural wisdom and knowledge. When we look at the account of Daniel and his three friends in the OT we see that Daniel was supernaturally more wise, intelligent, knowledgeable, and full of answers than all the secular advisors of his time period.
So, a real answer to your question would be...no- God is not stupid. Yes, he does answer prayer. No, that doesnt mean he answers every question...which may or may not be prayer. Also he many times blesses people with the ability to supernaturally know the answers to their questions. And, saying that God answers requests and saying that God answers requests with a "yes" are very different things.

God answers the prayers of the righteous. Do you think you have more understanding than God? If you don't believe in Him, then why even ask the question? lol THere are many Christians out there that could argue thermodynamics and other things that are way above my head. When God does answer the prayers of the righteous, His Spirit communicates on a spiritual level with those who believe in Him. Sometimes through the Bible, writings, other people. Its done on a spiritual level, and you must have spiritual sight to understand it. :)

God could answer such questions if he wanted to and maybe he will if you ask him... but then maybe he won't after all if God is real and the creator of the universe, why should he have to answer to our beck and call. When we build a machine we don't expect the machine to question us. It does the job that we created it for. When God created us he made us to live a life of worship to him. Thankfully unlike the machines that we create, God also wanted to have a meaningful relationship with us, and so he does speak to us and guide us and communicate with us. We just need to know that when we do speak to God, we remember that he is God and he created us. Therefore we have as about as much right to demand that God answers us, as our car has the right to demand to know where we are driving it to.

Well there is a difference between getting prayers answered that need to be answers and silly questions that you just want.
Also lots of times God doesn't answer by just putting an answer in your head, most of the time(at least with me), he has lead me to the answer and I found it through a practice in everyday life that I wouldn't have found if it wasn't for God.
I also don't think i would spend my time asking God quetions about science like you mentioned.

Absolutely! But, God is not restricted to our sense of time and so forth, so you may not get the answer right away, nor is he bound by our "wisdom", so you may not get an answer at all. Always remember: He knows the most hidden, secret, deep things about us, and he has as much as a reason to answer us as he is not obligated to. And, just a lil' tid bit'-I doubt the Creator of the Heaven's and Universe, and you and I included, is lacking anywhere in the intelligence department!

This is not weather God is stupid.YOU are questioning your faith.Maybe to start with a better question you might ask yourself were your faith lies.Do you have any faith inGod at all?Faith is a firm belief even in the absence of proof. This is a question of faith that God exist. This is a choice you make not to insult for what does this solve by insulting.Nothing, it just shows you are afraid to just trust that God exists but what is the alternative for someone that is leary of believing in the Father.I could have stayed that person, but I had no peace,no respect for mankind,no one to love or want to love me.I had no happiness.I am going to sit with my daughter now and relax.Just think about what I said.Merry Christmas and God Bless you.
