in this link it explains there are hypothetically ten dimensions. These multiple dimensions include multiple universes. If such is the case, then where does god fit in ? If at all. Does god care for everyone in all universes ? The idea of ten dimensions only affirms my belief in the non-existence of a deity

I believe that Jesus died for my sins. "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and Thou Shalt Be Saved." When people talk about accepting Jesus into your heart or letting him guide you, where does the Bible say anything about that?

The christian god is supposed to be nurturing yet has no female side which is in contrast to humanity where females are for the most part far more nurturing then men. Does this not bother the female christians that your gender is not presented as part of god?

Well, here is the dilema... my family is super-catholic... but I don't really feel that is the right path for me in life.

I am more of a spiritual person by nature and I have chosen to follow a pagan religion called wicca. I am afraid that if I tell my family then they will disown me for working hand-in-hand with the devil. No matter how I have tried to even bring up the topic of ANY pagan religion they all scream, rant and rave about blasphemy!

Any advice?

Creationists often tout love as an example of God's design.

Can you answer ways to counter such a statement by offering evolutionary advantages for human love and compassion?

Every year about two million Muslims converge on Mecca - the holiest place in Islam - to take part in an event which combines piety and passion.

Many Muslims save for years in order to perform the pilgrimage. They often have to travel thousands of miles.

Then, once they arrive, they must brave vast crowds and the fierce heat of the desert as they perform the Hajj rituals.

A lot of people say they go to church and everything but do they really keep the Sabbath. I mean Sunday worshipers just go to church and when they come back home they do whatever they want instead of keeping their "Sabbath" day holy. So I just wanted to know.

I guess the first question is whether all fear is irrational?

Heres part of the article the question is based on:

"The study, compiled by the European Monitoring Center on Racism and Xenophobia, urged European authorities to strengthen policies on integration. But it also noted that Muslims need to do more to counter negative perceptions driven by terrorism and upheavals such as the backlash to cartoons depicting the Prophet Muhammad."http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20061218/ap_on_re_eu/europe_muslims

What I find amazing is that a left-wing institution like the "European Monitoring Institute" which normally works under the left-wing assumption that all religions deserve respect and any negative view of a religious people is unexcusable bigotry, said that "muslims needed to do more". In other words, there is some rational basis to the backlash measured.

They certainly do need to "do more" other than all the wars they are involved in worldwide.

Do they realise that the average atheist was probably born into Christianity, was raised in it, studied it?
Actually, it wouldn't surprise me if atheists and agnostics knew MORE about Christianity than your generic Christian does.
