you are correct. each day archeology proves the Bible more and more. I think the double helix D.N.A. is enough proof.

Some people abandon the existence of God, because they only rely on what they see with their own eyes, and their other PHYSICAL senses. This is especially true for some of the scientists who only believe in what they see, or experience.
The real Bible on the other hand (and it's a common knowledge) was many times changed, censored over the ages, the centuries-(not just by the Catholic Church-and I would say MOSTLY NOT) . Many parts were changed, or deleted from it, or on the contrary-were added to it in order make it fit in with the current political interests of the given age.

I am not sure what scientists you are referring to. Nazareth never existed at that time - and it has been proven as such - so there could never be a Jesus of Nazareth. Sodom and Gomorrah might have existed, but it was also a Sumerian legend long before it ever got into the bible, so it has not been proved. The legend of Noah covers many different cultures, so a massive flood did happen, but not anywhere near like the bible describes. Adam and Eve could not possibly be the genetic heritage of the human race - and that is a scientific fact. List your scientists if you would.

Yup
Scientific fact that it happened.

Problem is it has been twisted for the Churches own reasons.

Christ was born as Joseph and Mary were going to Nazareth for the Roman Census (Matthew).

That Roman Census happened in March of 4 A.D. and it was the ONLY Census ever done in the Palestine.

So Christians worship his birth on the wrong day of the wrong year.....

Scientists don't like the idea that someone else is looking over their shoulder from behind a one-way mirror.

A. There are a lot of scientific/historical falsities in the bible
B. If every word of the history were true... how does that prove god was involved? See how that works?

If I write a history book and every few lines put "Ahura Mazda saideth..." Does that mean he really did?

Where ever did you get the notion that science proves the bible is hitorically accurate? From a comic book?

How unbelievably ignorant are you? Science does no such thing!

There is an idiot up in Utah that claims to be the foremost scientist in the study of Bigfoot.

Just because someone claims to be a scientist does not make their work credible. It takes hundreds of independent scientists coming to the same conclusion after review of the evidence to make it credible.

Bible scientists are crackpots.

That is not true. I just watched a 48 Hours Mystery on TV the other day...on the birth of Jesus. Guess what? All four books of the new testament vary of the facts. And none of them can be proven at all. Theologists and Preists and Ministers even attested to this on camera. Sorry Charlie.

To believe is a gift apart from yourself. Almost no one has it at the moment. Intellectual assent doesn't count.
