I actually wanted to ask "Today 40,000 innocent children died of starvation, hunger and Aids, do you actually care how somebody wishes you Happy Christmas or Merry Holidays?" ...but somehow that took too many characters to fit in one question.

Ah well, you can answer the question that fits best with how you see the spirit of Christmas.

I know I am gonna be yelled at alot for this, but I dont think religeon should be in public so much.
So much is based on religeon, that if you dont believe in god, you usually still find your self talking about god. such as "oh my god" i say this quite often, even though I am atheist.
Also, on common things, such as a dollar bill, it says in god we trust. It is almost like religeon is being forced upon us.
Does anyone else feel this way?

Would you give him money, would you give him food?

I wouldn't.

Chances are that bum on the street had a chance for an education and lost it. Probable because he/she is too lazy.

Why would you help someone out who did nothing and will give nothing in return.

Becuase it's the right thing to do?

Yeah, well guess what, it's the right thing to let him know that he should have seized the oppertunity of getting an education by not giving him a thing.

I wouldn't help a bum on the street, not a snowballs chance in hell.

Should I stop praying? Pray less or more? Should I keep praying hoping he'll answer one day? or should I just try to forget about my pain and move on with my life like God doesn't exist at all?

Alright, im pegan, but im not a "book taught" pegan, i know what i've learned through experience and meditation and spiritual guidance throughout my life. I have many people telling me "well ur not a real pegan, ur not a real anything".... i don't understand it, how can someone tell me i have no religion when i practice one that i have been spiritually guided to merely because i don't buy and study every book about it that comes my way.

It seems like he just tells the Jews that they belong to him and he is their own personal god and they shouldn't worship the others.

Kind of supports the use of us and we in Genesis.

Exodus 20
2 “I am the Lord your God, who rescued you from the land of Egypt, the place of your slavery.
3 “You must not have any other god but me.
4 “You must not make for yourself an idol of any kind or an image of anything in the heavens or on the earth or in the sea. 5 You must not bow down to them or worship them, for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God who will not tolerate your affection for any other gods.

Can any religion which requires you to self-eviscerate, self-immolate or kill another human being ever be enlightened?

"Not by hate is hate defeated; hate is quenched by love, not sensual pleasure. The is the eternal law."
Dhammapada 5.

Only love can conquer anger and hate. Love always confronts hate in the one way hate can not comprehend, with mercy and compassion.
Hate can not go beyond itself. It draws its strength from the self's defense of "self" !
Love lives to go beyond itself, drawing its strength from the act of selfless love. Love can thus comprehend hate. Slowly hate is defeated by love, as a grain of salt dissolves into the sweetness of a pond.

Charles Darwin went through a very upsetting upheaval in his faith when he couldn't deny the brutal elements of life. How do we explain the following:
1. The fact that life feeds on life with massive suffering occurring every moment as predator kills prey
2. The fact that lions and other species engage in infanticide (killing of babies) to promote their genetic line
3. The fact that a whole array of microscopic organisms are constantly at war with our bodies, trying to kill our bodies. The fact that our vulnerable bodies were built as mechanisms to keep the universe out and protect our internal organs. Why make bodies and the universe like this?

I've been talking to an athiest friend and I asked him what did he think would happen after this life? He simply answered that the 'afterlife' such as Heaven or Hell is made up to ease and cope with the emotional strain when a loved one is no longer there. And from other things he told me I would say that he does not believe in the soul either. Finally, that religion was created to control the masses.
How could I explain these things to him without making him feel put down or critisized? Any proof and comments are appreciated.

...do atheists always blame God for bringing wars and hatred instead of blaming mankind for their own actions?

Atheists are adversaries of God, and will have their time on Judgement Day, what do you think?
