No, I don't care. I just like to remind people that there are others out there with different celebrations, so it's nice to try to include them. It's just polite to try to direct your greeting toward a particular person's religion/celebration or use a cover-all like Happy Holidays when you don't know or have a mixed group. But most people recognize that it's the extension of glad tidings that matters. We shouldn't be jerks about it and insist, for example, "I'll say Merry Christmas if I want to and anyone who doesn't like it, I don't care." That's just rude and not at all in the spirit of things.

The spirit of Christmas is in the giving but there is only so much a single person can do.
I do give to charities often but at times when you walk down the road and there are collectors on every corner.
Our leaders need to look at what they are spending money on, Prime minister buying new submarines, what a waste of cash.
Pumping money into a country is not solving the problem as little of that cash actually gets used for what it was intended

don't really care as the person is taking the time to wish me a Merry Christmas Happy Holidays or whatever else, it is the thought that counts.

When you put it in that perspective it seems so petty. However, did you know that today, over 4,500 children were murdered for convenience? And it happens everyday in America? It is called "abortion on demand." We have lost generations of people who will never be replaced and cannot be.
Merry Christmas to all, and to all, a safer and Happier New Year.

No, I don't worry about what Holiday Greeting someone is using. Most of the time I don't pay any attention to it anyway when I'm out shopping, I'm too busy trying to get the hell outta the store.

If they are wishing me Happy Holidays because they are trying to be politically correct, I would probably find them to be annoying. But I don't like political correctness. There is a huge difference between being politically correct and being considerate. I like considerate people.

No. People can say "Merry X-Mas" To me. Why would it bother me? They're being nice.
I can say happy solstice to them. Shouldn't bother them either. And if it does then they can kiss it.
