Could you please provide me with the names of charites that are not or have not been created by Mosks temples or churches. I realy would like to give to charite and help starving children whats a good athiest charitee to give too?

ok here it is:Why do do many especially Christians, Catholics,Baptist, and Muslims show and expell hatred toward others for their faith or their sexual orientation when in their "Bibles" or "other" books talk about tolerance and not judging people for you shall be judged the same-isn't jesus or muhammed supposed to be preaching love and understanding not bigoty and hatred toward your fellow man?

How do you supplement your religion? Do you live in a community that has other buddhists, and a temple? I find it hard to take the plunge into buddhism where I have no support system. I am atheist. I don't really consider buddhism a religion, so I could be both. I believe the things buddhists believe. but i don't call myself one, because I am not really practicing it.

Since i've been using it, i've seen nothing but pathetic statements from people trying to make a fool out of christians, and making them seem bad. All I can say is that they have something to follow, its the losers who say stupid things that don't!

Sometimes one can live in a very sheltered life not being exposed to other cultures and diversities in this world. I'm wondering if seeing how many people here are passionate about their faiths, beliefs and way of life has opened your eyes that it is beautiful to see diversity in religions just as how it is great to enjoy many different cuisines, languages, ethnicities and ways of life that color our world.

Has this experience caused you to be less judgmental, more tolerant and accepting of these many different modes of transportations towards the one destination which is God? If not, then why not?

Hi, I just started a message board. Right now the only topics of discussion I have are of basketball and football. I was thinking of adding a forum to discuss religion/spirituality. If I did, would there be anyone from here that would visit and post...you don't have to register but it is easy and free to do so and you will have a lot more options posting as a registered user.

Anyone else heard of your soul weighing 21 grams. I saw something on the history channel I think about a doctor during the 1800's who ran a sanitarium for people with TB, since he had so many people about to die he started to weigh them at the moment of death on a bed scale, he found that the human body lost between 15-21 grams. Bed scales would weigh any bodily functions released by the body. Have you heard of any other info on the 21 gram theory, oh I know it was used as a title to a drug war movie, thanks

lets if if one day hundreds of years from now, scientists finaly solve every little detail, holes, and flaws in evolution. and it is proven without a single doubt that evolution happend, would christianity then die??? or would it still exist but accept evolution as well. i would think that if evolution was proven to be true without a reasonable doubt then most of the aspect of christianity would be shattered. what do you think???

this is just a hypothetical question, if one day this id happen.
