No, God would never go against His Word; and sending someone who was already married would be doing just that. Adultery is a sin, and always will be in the sight of God. He is the same, yesterday, today, and forever!

I did pray that God would send me a Godly mate. She wasn't a Christian at the time. But she is a Christian now. This is 22 years later and I thank God for her daily. I life is much better and fulfilling thanks to God and my wife.

People believe whatever they want to believe... whether they're right about it or wrong about it... but God's words speak the truth about what God would or would not do (& we know God is not a liar... we know He speaks the truth.. it is not us, but HE/HIS TRUTH... who has the final say)>>>
Matthew 19:26 Jesus beheld them, and said unto them>>> With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
God doesn't tempt us to do anything evil... He leads us unto>>> love & salvation.
Whether it's someone who is single or married, what it all comes down to is>>> you prayed only for Him to send you a "Godly Mate" ...you ask for it & you get it, but what do you do with it after receiving it?
If a married woman loves you, does it have to mean she's dirty, filthy because of it? Love is not dirty, not filthy... love is good, clean, wholesome.
A "Godly" woman is not a dirty woman, not a filthy woman. A Godly woman is a "GODLY" woman... she's a woman after God's own heart... one of His beautiful roses.
God knows the intentions of her heart, & He knows the intentions of your heart as well. Regardless of whether she's single or married, the question you need to ask yourself is>>> what are the intentions of your heart, toward the Godly woman?
Are your intentions dirty, filthy... or are your intentions that of sincere love?
God determines who walks into your life… it’s up to you to choose who you let walk away, who you let stay, and who you refuse to let go of.
Why is it up to you to decide who you keep or let go of?>>> because God gave you a free-will-choice.
I hope this helped you gain a deeper understanding of how the Lord works (in mysterious ways)... ways in which we do not always fully comprehend, but we trust & believe He gives us His best.
If we ask for a fish, does He give us a serpent? NO, He does not give us a serpent... & not only does He give us a fish, but He gives us the best that He has... amen
I'm not out to have my answer chosen as best answer... but am only here to testify of the truth.
The greatest commandment that we are ordered to obey, is to LOVE.

No He would send an eligible person for you to mate with. A Godly person would not seek a relationship outside of their own marriage. He would send you a single Godly mate.

The answer to your question is in 2 of the Ten Commandments...thou shalt not commit adultery and thou shalt not covet. God does not lie or contradict himself. He commands us not to covet (take, lust after) what he has blessed someone else with and he commands us not to commit adultery. So why would he "send" you someone else's mate? If you have become "emotionally" attached to someone else's lover, you've allowed yourself to do that...not God. God gives us the desires of our heart, as we commit our ways to him and following his word...so basically, if you're involved emotionally with a married person, it is not of God. If you're praying for a Godly mate, you've not founded one in a married person...wait for someone who is single and committed only to God...you'll have much more peace and undoubtly God's favor on your marriage.

No! That would go against Himself and God has no sin nor does He lie. Now He could send a widow or widower. But dont be fooled- Satan will do anything to get a christian to screw up.

God respects marriage between a man and a woman. Why would He break up one marriage that was otherwise doing fine?

God will answer our prayers no doubt, but he also expects us to be intelligent and use that intelligence. He will not pull us around like a puppet. Additionally, God would never intentionally direct you to disobey a commandment, so I would doubt God would "send" you a married person.

my husband told me before we met he'd been frustrated at the women he was meeting. One night he got down on his knees and prayed for a women asking for specific things about her. He said a few months later I "showed up" and he knew that I was THE one. It's one of the sweetest things anybody ever said/told me. We've been married 10 years now.
neither of us were married (both divorced then).

He would never go against his own word. When he sends you someone they will be available. God doesn't play games with us. When we ask for bread he doesn't give us a stone.
