All music is ok to listen to. As long as you know who you are, and what you're all about, even the worst lyrics will have no effect on you. Do some introspection and decide what you believe is decent behavior. If the lyrics to one rock song upset your balance, try another one! There are plenty of decent rock songs out there.

I sure hope not...

"Did you write the book of love,
And do you have faith in God above,
If the Bible tells you so?
Do you believe in rock ’n roll,
Can music save your mortal soul,
And can you teach me how to dance real slow?"

St. Don McLean

as long as the lyrics are not using " profane " or indecent language then I have no problem with Rock and Roll. however when indecent language is used I definitely have a problem.
