Which religion should I go for?

If JW's are bad, Christians are nutters, Quakers are odd - what do I do???

At school today, these guys were handing out pocket sized bibles and then on my way home i saw a couple mormon guys walking on the sidewalk. Is it some religous day that i don't know about?

After all, it would be such a _small_ thing for a god to do. And yet, I've just waited five minutes before posting this, just to give him / it another opportunity, and I'm SO still an atheist. (Sigh. Stood up again....)

let me first say i am somewhat a devoted christian. im not here to bash so F off ^_^. ok my question is why are there so many people bashing christianity. not every christian "forces" religion onto people. Our duty is to spread the word of the bible but i agree there are some who go to the extreme and "force" it on people. but why bash everyone believing christianity. can't you just say i hate "guys who force religion onto people" instead of "F off ALL christians blah blah i don't want to believe your crap" ok so don't believe it. our duty is to spread the word not crush it into your brain. i'm not saying all atheists (only thing that comes to mind since they are the ones bashing mostly) and others are like this just some. i can respect you don't want to believe it after you read it and stuff but come on have a little respect for the other man as well. my little two cents. sorry if it seems like i'm bashing when i don't think i am. ^_^ i still want my question answered!!! ~rawr~

.......what rational being in their right mind could possibly condone it? Innocent babies who are oblivious of even their own toes, defenseless animals having nothing to do with human politics, violently slaughtered in the name of a pure and "loving" god?

It really irks their ire when Christians are presented with their own scripture as reason not to follow. Deep down in the subconscious, the Christian cannot condone it, therein lies their conflict. They must either denounce it or try to save face, since they have already proclaimed to the world that their Bible is THE perfect will of a just and loving god, and try (against their own heart of hearts) to spin it as something good. You may have your "truth" of the Bible, but i choose the honesty of me own heart. Thank you.

Why do I keep hearing that Christians have to be conservative or they are not real christians? I believe in the right for people to be who they really are and that may make me a independent but I still am a christian.

How can heaven be heaven if one of your loved ones are in hell? If I am never to see one of my loved ones again,then i am in hell.Even if I loved god more, i would still not be happy in heaven knowing someone I loved is in hell.How would heaven be heaven in that situation?

confusing question. pay close attention to my point. read all before answers.

jesus is god it says. if jesus was on earth, why dont ppl believe in god? Jesus was alive on earth right? if u believe so, then that means u obviously have to believe in him and god had existed. he couldn't just have been born as a child and never sined and knew everything in the bible right away and knew he was the son of god and knew alot about god. he obviously knew he was the son of god as he was growing up because god must have told him or he knew he was because he is god. he couldn't have came up with that in life out of know where. and how can you explain the story about Mary and Joseph? if u believe in them, then u must believe an angel had spoke to them both about having a kid. and for unbelievers, how can u explain the history books that we learn in school- it talks about history with dates at A.D [after death of jesus christ] and B.C [before christ] the AD and BC. so that means jesus exists+god

Would the history of Jesus and religion in general still be here today?

Would we still have religion even though we have got access to 2000 year old dvd's of Jesus doing his miracles?

Or would we simply think he was just a talented magician?

And, if the real Jesus came back, who would believe him in the type of life we live in today?

(I'm not trying to make fun of anyone religious. I believe in Jesus as the son of God. I just want to hear how you would answer these questions. I will respect all answers - obviously not the answers that make fun of me.

I will be most grateful if you could share your thoughts. Ten points will not go to the christian. Ten points will go to an interesting answer.

Well, I have to admit as a man I really don't like the idea of a man having to change their children's diapers and I really do think it is a woman's job. Then I came across this verse and I thought about telling my little lady about it:

Leviticus 18:6 None of you shall approach to any that is near of kin to him, to uncover their nakedness. I am the LORD.

Am I taking this out of context?
