It is definitely ok for you to change diapers and you should continue doing it. It is not just a woman's job, it is a parent's job.

That Bible verse refers to being grown ups and falls into the catagory of incest. As far as a baby or a small childs diaper is concerned, how in the world would that be sin, unless some pervert was abusing this small child ? Good grief, we can not mis-understand the Bible that way. If you showed this to your little lady, is there a possibility, that you just don't want to change your childs diaper, for some reason ?? Or are you at some risk at changing the little girls diapers ?? Yes, you took this Bible verse out of context to use at your own liking. Not good.

Yes you are taking this out of context. IF the purpose is incestious then it is sinful.
It would be a sin for a father not to provide any and all care necessary to raise his children. You had the fun in making them now you have to clean up the mess from the party.

well in the new international bible it states Levitticus 18:6 as " 'No one is to approach any close relative to have sexual relations. I am the LORD." you must be reading the new american standard version bible. but when i read it, i took it as sexual relations too and i have the new american version also. the new american and king james version are the same on that verse and in my sacred scriptures class i was told the king james version is supposed to be the closest to the original but since the original version is in an ancient hebrew dialect without vowels its anybodys guess.
but thats besides the point. it means don't have sex with your relatives. and suck it up and help with your child. don't try using the bible to get out of taking your turn with changing diapers. every once in awhile. it ain't gonna kill you. wether or not you believe a womens place is taking care of the kids and home doesn't mean you can't help her out once in awhile cause i'm sure she does alot for you also. besides if you didn't want to be a dad (and that's part of being a dad) then you shouldn't have had kids! which is just my opinion (since you told us yours i figured i'd tell you mine)

Yes, you are taking this out of context.
The passage deals with sexual sin issues.
"Uncover nakedness" was a euphemism for having sex with someone.
Now go change those diapers, dude.

Yeah your taking it way out of context and possibly looking for an excuse so that you don't have to change those smelly diapers. That is if someone is dumb enough to say Lev 18:6 supports this notion.

Changing diapers is a PARENT'S duty, whether that parent is a man or a woman makes no difference.
and yes, you are taking Leviticus out of context. but there really is no proper context for Leviticus unless you traveled back in time to the days when those 'laws' were written.

The Bible had nothing to do with changing a babie's diaper. My son does it all the time and his wife appreciates the help - after all; she's his daughter too. You're supposed to do what makes sense not rely on the Bible to do everything.

It isn't a sin if the man is trying to do something useful for his child once and a lifetime. So considering changing a diaper for your wife is not a sin.

There is no problem if a father changes his son's or daughter's diapers. And this is not nakedness if you mean it, when a father/mother changes diapers of their babies.
