I prayed that he would have comfort in his last days and be surrounded by people he cared about. All people should be happy at the end of their life. He helped many people and is a good person. Im not Catholic but none should be lonely or in pain on their death bed

Of course. Even if he represents a religious following I do not fully agree with, the Pope is still one of the holiest men humanity can have, an inspiration of hope and good will to all the world. Anyone like that has a place in my prayers.

Yes, he was a sick person that needed prayer, that's it. Christians wouldnt NOT pray for someone just because they are catholic.

As a non-catholic, I didn't. But honestly, I should have. I think that all Christians sometimes forgoe prayer where it is due, something we need definitely need to do more of in these troubled times.
