LOL, how true. I have tried to see where people are coming from. I've gone to chruch, I've listened to people talk about religion and "god" and still nothing. I've done it all with an open mind, and still................... (nothing)...................
I've been at very very low poins in my life, I've had my own problems, dealt with multiple deaths, and had tons of joyous times too. still, nothing
but, what about the FLYING SPEGHETTI MONSTER? do you believe in him?

Same answer for you God wants for me to spread his word to convert others to believe and be saved. What hope is for the rest of the world??? There are ppl out there right now questioning their existance and OPENING their hearts to an answer that being GOD. So for those ppl I will continue to spread the word and let them know of my change from non-believer to believer.
The truth is your words of giving up and quitting because your test on God for a sign did not come thats just your close mindedness God does not work on your command. One day though maybe he may show you the way out of the darkness you stand in.
I have to say I have met many atheist who were just as rebellious against God if not more and a few satanist too that converted 100% seeing God as the truth. So those are the reasons I continue to talk about God to everyone I come into contact with.
With that said yes there is hope for the rest of the world!

I pleaded for God to reveal himself in 1990. It didn't happen until 1993 (through some books I happened to read). I'm not trying to convince you of anything, that's just how long it took with me. I think God is something that we have the option to use, an energy to tune in to, a force to align with. Prayers are not answered instantly , which is what we are all used to in our culture. I don't look down on Atheists, because I was one. As long as you continue to search for the truth (in all matters, not just the existence of God) you'll have a good life, whether you come to believe in God or not. Being a thinker has its own rewards, so never stop thinking.

Its not Gods job to make you believe in him. Its your job to seek out the truth, as it is every human beings responsibility to seek God in there lives. Hes given you life, free will, food, job, clothes, loved ones, money every thing there is it comes from him, and you want him to prove himself to you too. Shish your not asking much are you. That's why its called "faith" to believe in the revelations given to you, and if you don't believe them then who is to blame? God or you?If you knew you where going to get an A in a test without studying, would you study all the same to earn that A, or would you do nothing expecting your just gonna get the A anyway? Faith is like that i follow rules that God has placed for us all, I have faith in his Book and his revelations, i don't need proof. Gods not out to get you, you have to find him. Believe or not that's your choice, just don't go blaming God cause hes not knocking on your door. Why don't you try go knocking on his.

No My God Jehovah does not force people to believe in him, nor does he drag anyone to search for him, but he has written his truths in his word The Bible, so the truth about Jehovah is in the Bible for all to see, yet not all want to see the truth maybe some think that not knowing the truth exempts them from responsibility of it. yet is that realy so The Bible answers that Question(2Thessalonians1:8)It is not true that God has't bothered in fact he took the time and effort to get the truth to every one and his followers also carry out his instrutions to go and tell people about him and, yet very few people actually listen, but there is no excuse, because the truth is there for all!

God don't usually work that way... you can't test God and make him do something in five minutes, not that way anyways.
You have to learn patients, especially with God. God would do very large things for you, and do it on time, but first you have to learn to trust him, have faith, patients, and prayers, prayers are one of the strongest things from God.
Peace!

sorry lady...it don't work that way.... you must come to God in The Way He proscribes inorder to receive His free gift of Salvation. Then ou will be one of The Body of The Church of which Jesus The Christ is The Head and you will have an assured place in Heaven.... you can not come to God on your terms... God makes The Rules... mankind, or woman kind, dose not..... There is Only One Way...The Way...to God.

It's the "faith" thing that I have trouble with maybe it's the same for you too.
“If faith is a valid tool of knowledge, then anything can be true 'by faith,' and therefore nothing is true. If the only reason you can accept a claim is by faith, then you are admitting that the claim does not stand on its own merits.” (Dan Barker)
Faith is the antithesis of rational thought. This is why so many religious leaders actively preach against rational thought and even advanced education. They realize that rational thought and education can destroy religious faith and result in fewer followers for them.

Call yourself what you wish but you do believe or you wouldn't ask in the first place.
Try rephrasing your request to "I believe, Lord help my unbelief"
God is not rude, God will not force God's self on you. Nor is God at your beck and call. You must seek God passionately with your heart and then you will find God.
The Budhists teach the same regarding oneness and peace.

Don't be so impatient. I waited almost 50 years without so much as a phone call from him. Then this happened to me.
Several years ago I had an unusual experience concerning an uncle, a distant relative who lived over a thousand miles away.
While driving my car I suddenly felt the unmistakable presence of this relative that I hardly even knew. He was more like someone I had heard about than someone I knew. It was very strange; it felt as though I was momentarily lifted right out of my physical body. I seemed to be suspended somehow beyond space and time, bathed in a love so intense It felt like I could have just disappear into it at any moment if It would have let me. It only lasted for a few seconds, but it seemed to last forever at the same time. I realize how crazy this must sound. The experience was so strong that at first I was afraid I was loosing my grip on reality. I finally managed to chalk it up to an over active imagination.
Three days later I got a call from my aunt telling me that this uncle we are talking about had gone into a coma and died the day I had the experience. It felt like ice water had been poured down my back when she told me this. I had lost any real ideas of God or faith and had become somewhat of an atheist. Needless to say this experience caused me to rethink some of the conclusions I had come to.
I feel blessed to now understand that even in our darkest confusion something loves us so much that it went out of its way to assist me and bring me back to a state of absolute certainty about Gods love for us.
During the experience it seemed like there was a vast amount of information that I was somehow allowed access to. One thing that I came away from this experience understanding beyond any shadow of a doubt was that any Idea that God is unhappy with us or would judge or allow us to be punished for any reason is simply impossible.
I can’t explain the love I felt with words. They simply don’t make words big enough or complete enough to do this. The only way I can begin to convey this love to you is to say that there was simply nothing else there. Nothing but love. No hint of judgment, no displeasure of any sort. It is as though God sees us as being as perfect as we were the day we were created. It is only in our confused idea of ourselves that we seem to have changed.
I hope this is of some help to you. Good luck. Love and blessings.
Your brother don
