That's rubbish. Liberals are just as Christian as Conservatives and Independents. Follow your God and don't worry about the politics.

conservative means to stand for conserving or keeping things the way they are we stand up for morally correct things. for instance God said he is the giver of live, and no man has the right to take a life. Thus therefore as a christian we are called conservative because we chose to conserve the law of God and be against abortion as well as many other things. We just chose to be conservative as to preserve that which is descent and pure. That's our label and we're stick'en to it. You have the right to be who you are, but there are dangers in believing in God and voting for a man who says it is OK to abort (which is a nice word for kill)5,000 babies a day. If he is found guilty before the Lord on Judgment day for allowing such a thing wouldn't I also be found guilty of the same thing if I choose to vote him a independent or liberal in who says its OK to do such a thing.
Think on it.

That's American Evangelical Fundamentalism for you - or Fundie for short. All religions have fundies. "You're not a real [insert religious label here] if you don't believe (or do things like) this, this, and this."
It's sad because I'd be willing to bet you're a better Christian than those who tell you you're not a real Christian. Not to mention that Liberal simply means generous. Shouldn't Christians technically be liberal (i.e. generous) toward others? Within reason, of course. Jesus was likely a liberal.

There are all kinds of people on here who will denounce your right to be Christian for all sorts of reasons of their very own. I'm thinking it's so the atheists can point and laugh really. lol
I'm not conservative, I'm not liberal or anything else. I chose what's best for me and I follow the Bible and pray, I vote liberally because I expect the same freedoms others expect.

It matters not how we see ourselves, the living God is our judge. The basic premise of Christianity is that all who believe in Jesus as God's and paid our sin debt, will be saved. The rub comes with the question, when have I believed unto salvation.
I believe, that if a person believes Jesus is who he said he was, then they will naturally believe he had authority to give the instructions he gave, and that they would endeavor with all their efforts to obey his instructions.
Otherwise, have they actually believed, and if not how can they be "Christian" at all.
simple analogy-Calling myself a singer doesn't make me a singer. If I'm the real deal, other people will call me a singer.

That's because Christians want to deviate from the Bible and not wholeheartedly follow it. They don't want to be imitators of Christ like the Bible says, but they want to do what they want while still thinking that they are doing the right thing because they are not doing what everyone else is doing.
It's not about being a conservative or liberal Christian, it's about being a follower of Christ.

Conservative can be defined many ways. It just seems that Christians who follow the Bible are considered to be conservative, and if that is truly the case, then I am proud to be so.

Saying that all Christians have to be conservative or they're not real Christians is like saying all African Americans have to vote Democrat or they're disloyal to their race. Yes, I have African American friends who have been told this.
It's a ludicrous POLITICAL idea that has nothing to do with Christianity. Don't worry about it, that's why we have separation of church & state.
Bright blessings!

Some people think that the only "right" way is THEIR way- whether that be religious, political, or otherwise. The world is full of closed-minded people. The most we can do is work to make the world a better place in spite of them.

There are so many branches of Christianity,to just come out and point your finger at someone and say "YOU!Your are an POSER!HA!" is pretty dumb.
Some think that you must confess to a priest to be a Christian. Some believe you must be baptized to be a Christian. Some people think that you have to be good. Some(like me) think you have believe on Jesus Christ and become saved to be a Christian. The list goes on and on...
