If, as is claimed by some, you must worship the 'correct' god, then why would there be more than one option? Why would One god reveal himself to different cultures, under different names, giving them different rules and laws and expecting different forms of worship? If there were only One god, wouldn't there be one single revelation that would be so solid that you'd just have to believe in it?
And what are the consequences for worshipping the 'wrong' god? Damnation? Eternal suffering? Would a loving god allow people to be sent to hell for believing in the wrong god, simply because they were born in the wrong country?

What if the Lord returned tonight and you find out that every thing you have said and done, would find you facing a judge who use's the earth as his foot stool. Just suppose your wrong and the word of God is true. What would you Do?

a) ensuring that everyone has equal rights? or
b) ensuring that the bible is followed?

For those who will say, "both," I recommend you read the book again, because the book makes it quite plain that you can't have both.

How many of you have a Bible? There are lots of questions that can be answered quite rapidly with a Bible and the concordance.

By the way, saying 'the bible is proof' is laughable. The bible was written by human beings and even, hypothetically, had 'god' inspired it, why would a perfect god choose such a poor way of revealing itself to the world?
Would a 'loving god' set up such a trap? And why would a 'loving god' demand worship anyway?

Five minutes ago god came to me in a vision and told me that I am the one true prophet. He said that jesus got too big headed so he had him crucified, and he didn't like mohammad and moses on account of them being bigoted racists, so now he has chosen to communicate his wishes through me.
Anyone who does not follow my word will face eternal damnation, god says this universe will end in 1 years time and only those who follow me will be saved, he also said premarital sex, adultery and sodomy are fine as are contraception and drug/alchahol use.

Are you ready to convert?

For as long as I can remember I have been recieving magazines from Jehovah's Witnesses. They are interesting to read, and I know JWs do not "form allegiance to any government" except to God. But I have never seen the issue of voting covered. Do they vote for officials who they believe will work for their rights, or not vote at all?

where did Cain's wife come from? She wasn't Eve. First of all, she was already Adam's wife. Secondly, she must've been pretty irate with Cain for killing her other son. Do you really think she would've become his wife? Thirdly, Cain was banished to the land of Nod, then took a wife and had a son named Enoch. THEN Eve also had another child during this time with Adam her husband. She did have other children maybe daughters but not yet for it says this next child she had, Seth, replaced Abel and if she had Enoch, HE would've been next to replace Abel. So you can't say it was some daughter of Adam and Eve (which would've been his sister) If you still think his wife was Eve, what do you think she did, go live with Adam, then go live with Cain and be his wife for awhile, then go BACK and live with Adam, then go back and have another baby with Cain, etc...... Does this really make sense to you? Or is it me?

I would like to enroll my daughters in a private christian pre-k and elementary in town. I've read the pamphlets and all the information and it sounds great. The tuition is within my budget and I agree with their teaching standards. My famliy believes in God and we want to set good morals for our children. The only thing making me second-guess this decision is that a very close family friend of ours is homosexual. We support him in his lifestyle and don't want our children to judge him. We're afraid that by going to a Christian school, they will inevitably and falsely led to judge him for what, not who, he is. Any ideas on how to resolve this issue, if it's even possible to do so?
