When asked He pointed to the prophecies of Daniel of 2300 days and nights. So he should have come back 2300 years after the reconstruction of the Temple of Jerusalem. That is 1844.

Why bother asking. You know nobody knows.

Do you want to hear a "so called" prophetic utterance such as it will be very very soon, for all the signs have come to pass.

Do you live in such fear ? ? ? ? ?

What if this return, this rapture never takes place, and God decided to allow you to suffer Real persecution like everybody else in the world does, and will in the future ?

Would you commit suicide because you couldn't handle the pressure of persecution in hard times ?

Just live your life and don't worry about it.
Didn't Jesus say, Don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will take care of itself.

Instead, think on these things, Phil. ch. 4 and the end result IS Peace.

This is what you should learn to strive, and seek and live IN Peace.

Peace will keep your heart and mind stable, so you won't worry about such things like: when is Jesus coming back !!

THANK YOU for your question.

I hope many others read your question and the many responses it will bring.

I am a 14 year old girl and am appalled at some of the remarks made here. Firstly, he/she who asked this question was not most likely not looking for smart-aleck remarks, rather, looking for a real answer. If you believe that it's when 'dinner's ready' or when 'you fly' or when 'all the dead guinea pigs that were loved pets come back...' then keep that to yourself. It's rude to make fun of peoples' questions.

Secondly, only God the Father knows when His Son is coming back. I am a firm believer in Jesus Christ, and believe with all my heart that one day He will come back for all his children. He's my Daddy and I love and trust Him with all that I am or ever could be. It's because of Him I haven't given away my virginity or self-respect and traded it for hurt and feelings of betrayal.

If you want more on the Rapture, check out Revelations. It's all about the end of days. Also, if you can, find a good study guide for Rev. I did and it helped me a lot (I'm sorry I don't have it anymore or I'd give you the name).

If somebody told me that there was no God, I would still believe because my life is better because of Him. I'd rather live with Him in my life and find out I'm wrong then not believe in Him and find out I'm wrong. Ever think about that?

Anyways, I hope this helps. I know it was long, but even at my age I feel very strongly about people picking on my Father in heaven. I wonder how other people would feel if I went around picking on their religions or lack thereof? ...Which I most certainly do not.

God bless, and, again, I'm sorry it's long.

No one knows, not even Jesus knows. The only thing is that we are to be on the alert and be about his work sharing the good news of his saving grace. God his father will send he back when he is ready. It is not for us to know the time.

Try reading the book of Revelation and the book of Daniel if you're really concerned. They talk about signs you can be mindful of, but honestly, "...of that hour knoweth no man."

Why? Have you decided to be a Christian after all? I hope so. God bless.
