is it because they cant handle the "truth hurts" answers they are getting? in my case, i delete my questions if there is only one answer and if i dont agree with it.

or does yahoo display it as "user has deleted the question" even if they didnt but got reported for violation?

Usually if a question has been removed by ya, it says something to that effect. It sometimes also says that it violated community guidelines.

I don't know how bug free this system is, but it seem pretty likely that if it says the asker removed their question, they really did it themselves.

I've had 63 violations, all for chatting, even when the questions clearly are not. This is my main account, and I don't care to lose it, even though I will in the very near future. So,if I ask a question that I feel is going to get reported, I'll delete. I've gotten to the point where I get so many violations for legitimate q&a that I now use r+s for chatting. If I'm going to receive a violation for it, then I'm going to do it.

People who ask a serious question want a serious answer. There are to many idiots on this site who think that being "cute" or insulting is a substitute for intelligence. This goes for religious and non-religious people alike.
