We love Ya Amber but your idea that 2+2 = 37 is a bit hard to swallow.
Every one is a son of God. I will agree with you that Jesus was not an exception to this rule.

You bring out some very valid points there!
Many religious people say that Jesus is God. Some claim that God is a Trinity. According to this teaching, “the Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Spirit is God, and yet there are not three Gods but one God.” It is held that the three “are co-eternal and co-equal.” (The Catholic Encyclopedia) Are such views correct?
Jehovah God is the Creator. (Revelation 4:11) He is without beginning or end, and he is almighty. (Psalm 90:2) Jesus, on the other hand, had a beginning. (Colossians 1:15, 16) Referring to God as his Father, Jesus said: “The Father is greater than I am.” (John 14:28) Jesus also explained that there were some things neither he nor the angels knew but that were known only by his Father.-Mark 13:32.
Moreover, Jesus prayed to his Father: “Let, not my will, but yours take place.” (Luke 22:42) To whom was Jesus praying if not to a superior Personage? Furthermore, it was God who resurrected Jesus from the dead, not Jesus himself. (Acts 2:32) Obviously, the Father and the Son were not equal before Jesus came to the earth or during his earthly life. What about after Jesus’ resurrection to heaven? First Corinthians 11:3 states: “The head of the Christ is God.” In fact, the Son will always be in subjection to God. (1 Corinthians 15:28) The Scriptures therefore show that Jesus is not God Almighty. Instead, he is God’s Son.
The so-called third person of the Trinity-the holy spirit-is not a person. Addressing God in prayer, the psalmist said: “If you send forth your spirit, they are created.” (Psalm 104:30) This spirit is not God himself; it is an active force that he sends forth or uses to accomplish whatever he wishes. By means of it, God created the physical heavens, the earth, and all living things. (Genesis 1:2; Psalm 33:6) God used his holy spirit to inspire the men who wrote the Bible. (2 Peter 1:20, 21) The Trinity, then, is not a Scriptural teaching.* “Jehovah our God is one Jehovah,” says the Bible.-Deuteronomy 6:4.

The time frames of b.c. and a.d. are used because Jesus did leave a huge impact on humanity. But please understand that he was the son of God, not God. We are all children of God. Once a spirit take human form it can never be godly, because he is subject to human flaws, imperfections.God our Father Creator would never subject himself to that. Think about it why did he not do the same as he did with Adam then instead of putting a married Mother through the shame of being an adulteress, which back then was punishable by stoning. Do you really believe everyone believed since the time of conception that this was a special child? If so then why did not everyone open their home to Mary and Joseph. Wouldn't you? I mean God in human form he would of been treasured from the beginning don't you think? Please reason.. Peace and love be with you.

There is absolutely no empirical evidence to prove that Jesus ever existed in the first place. All evidence is hearsay, with the earliest writings coming some 35 years after the story of the crucifixion (the average life-span of people at that time was approximately 30 years, so the writings could not have been first hand accounts).
The modern calendar didn't come into effect in 1 AD with the birth of Christ, rather it arose in the late 6th century, and was only widely adopted in the 9th, due to Christianity becoming the predominant faith. People who existed before the birth of Christ didn't count the years backwards to Christs birth (the BC to AD switch occured in 6 BC, but dinosaurs existed in 1,000,000 BC).

This is the trinity,it is made up of God the father, God the son and God the holy spirit.
Which means Jesus God and the holy spirit are the same person/being.
With God telling Jesus he was his son in the bible it never said anything about that to Jesus himself when Jesus got baptised in front of all those people the holy spirit descend like a dove on him and God said "this is my son with him I am well pleased." God said it publicly in front of people Jesus knew from the start he was different because he was God as a man he could not sin it was against his nature. He knew instinctively because he is God in human form.

We have B.C. and A.D. because the Romans converted all of the peoples they had conquered - which was nearly all of Europe and a chunk of Africa - to Christianity, and since we still go by the Roman calendar (basically) why would we no longer have B.C. and A.D.? This is also why A.D. is a LATIN term. The Romans applied it to the calendar. It has nothing to do with whether Jesus ACTUALLY existed or whether he was ACTUALLY the son of God, it has to do with what calendar we use. The Chinese don't use our calendar. They're in the year 5,000-something, last time I checked.

Jesus and God are the same person, along with the Holy Spirit. the Holy trinity consists the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. that is God. Jesus was with God at creation and before. God created time. God has been around from before time and will be around for an eternity to come. proof that Jesus was with God at creation is found in Genesis 1:26 "And God said, 'Let us make man into our own image, after our likeness..." Jesus came down from heaven to live on this world for 33 years and to die for us on the cross to pay the debt for our sin. he was the only perfect person to ever live and will always be the only perfect person. when Jesus died, he made it possible for us to come to God and for us to have salvation. before, a priest would have to make an atonement for the peple's sin, which was like an offering to God, but when he died, the veil in the temple split from top to bottom, symbolizing that we can personally ask God for forgiveness without having to go to a priest and make a sacrifice. Go get a Bible and read the "gospels" Matthew, Mark Luke and John. all of the answers to salvation and Jesus are there. anyway, moving on to the part about Mary and Joseph, Mary was a virgin when she became pregnant with Jesus. the Bible says that she was chosen to be the mother of the savior because God had found favor in her. Joseph was not Jesus' father. God is Jesus father. Mary was a virgin when she had Jesus. the Bible states this clearly. an angel did appear to Mary to give her the news that she was pregnant. when Joseph, her fiancee, found out, he was going to end the engagement quietly because in those days, if the town found out that you were pregnant outside of marriage or that you had had relations with someone out of marriage, then you could be stonned. an angel also appeared to Joseph, telling him that it was okay and to take Mary as his wife. this was all God's plan. God uses ordinary people like you and me to do extraordinary work. Mary was just an ordinary girl, but God used her to be the mother of the Savior. Jesus and God the Father exist. they are one. it is a hard concept to understand, but God is beyond understanding. if you have more questions about the Bible or if your just questioning whether or not its true, go to your local Bible book store and talk to them. look for some books by the author Josh McDowell. they'll give you some good answers. this Bilbl doesnt lie. everything in it is true. if you believe that, then you can find all of your answers in there. good luck.

Well, it's really easy to accept that a man named Yeshua probably lived and was probably killed by the Romans for political reasons. That in no way means that all the things written in the Bible are accurate, just that people took that persons story, "enlarged" it (much the way we did with Johnny Appleseed), and wrote it down. All of those stories you are talking about are only "proof" of divinity if the Bible is accepted as literal historical fact, which I think is illogical.
As far as the calendar stuff: 1.) AD does not mean "after death" it means "Anno Domini," "in the year of the Lord." The fact that the calendar changed doesn't prove YHWH or Yeshua, it just proves that the people in power believed in him.

You fail to realize that calendars are man-made inventions, there's nothing natural.
Why don't we create a calender based on the first time an atomic weapon was detonated? Dates before that event would be B.N. (before nukes), the dates after would be A.N. (after nukes). This has, in fact, been done.
The Jewish Calender is in the 5600's or 5700's, it's not based on Jesus's birth.
By the way, AD means Anno Domini, not 'After Death'. Otherwise we'd need something between BC and AD for the years he was alive.
Further, Jesus of Nazareth could not have been born when the epoch was set. His birth was anywhere from 12BC to 4BC, due to errors in the way calendars were calculated.

What is to explain about choosing the birth of Jesus as year 0?
All tha tproves is that western society was highly influenced by christianity. It does nothing to prove Jesus was at all divine.
Many cultures based their calendars on a specific event or person, and none have anythign to do with god.
