I hear a lot about "stoners" and "tweakers", but I don't know what a "tweaker" is. I've read the Bible and the Koran, so I have a good grasp on who the "stoners" are, I am surprised that there are still so many of them around.

But as for "tweakers", I'm at a loss. When I was in basic training for the Army we had a couple of guys in the shower room that were called "tweakers" and you really had to be BOL (be on the lookout). They were not a problem for long though, they were sent off to OCS quickly, nobody else wanted to go. So are these guys still pulling their pranks but in larger numbers?

Jn:5:14: Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.

Jn:8:11: She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

So you all are correct, Jesus would not ask you to do something that is impoosble to do, therefore go and sin no more.

Do you believe it is possible or not possible ?

I looked everywhere. One guy said that he is dead, so I can't find him. Another dude said that Jesus was his landscapers brother? Some other dude told me to look in some book, but I am not that stupid. The book he showed me was not large enough for a human to hide in. Where is this dude, and why does my aunt want me to find him for her? Should I call a private investigator?

How can anyone doubt God? How can anyone doubt that the earth and all the stars, the moon, the planets, the whole UNIVERSE was created by Him? How can you explain that it just came into being without someone putting it there? I mean, come one. God makes all the sense in the world, if you would just lay down your prideful ways and admit that He is the mighty awesome Creator of everything? I am looking for serious answers, not something rude but i am actually interested in how someone can deny God. Just because you can not see him, does not mean he doesnt exist. Just look at the stars, the moon, the sun, the infinite sky? How much more proof do you need? Have you ever seen a million dollars? Not likely, but that doesnt mean it does not exist. No rude answers or I will report you, i want honest answers please.

The doctor told me I should start an excerise program, Not wanting to harm my body, i devised the following:

Monday- Beat around the bush, Jump to conclusions, Climb the walls, Wade through the morning paper.

Tuesday- Drag my heels, Push my luck, Make mountains out of molehills, Hit the nail on the head

Wednesday- bend over backwards, Jump on the bandwagon, Run around in Circles

Thursday- Toot my own horn, Pull out all the stops, Add fuel to the fire

Friday- Open a can of worms, Put my foot in my mouth, Start the ball rolling, Go over the edge.

Saturday- Pick up the pieces

Sunday- Kneel in prayer, Bow my head in thanksgiving, Uplift my hands in praise, Hug someone and encourage them

Suppose we reach another world, or they reach us, or we are simply able to communicate with an extraterrestrial race, and they have no belief in a god.

What if there are hundreds of billions of them? Are you going to tell them they are all damned, or that they are all wrong. Suppose they laugh in your face? Suppose they have a totally different belief system, or suppose they KNOW FOR A FACT what happens when you die?

What if they communicate and travel to thousands of other worlds, and none of them believe in a god either?

Are you going to tell them they are all wrong, too???

Do you listen to the same music as your parents...no way
Do you dress the same as your parents...no way

All these change with time, but for some reason, religion does not...

Imagine a man from 200 years ago was dropped into our society. He would have no idea what was going on. He would be fascinated by cars, phones, lights, roads, houses, planes, fridges, showers, toilets, etc. He would know nothing of modern science, music, sports, dinosaur fossils, global warming. We would simply be amused with how dumb he was. Even small children would no more than this man, in every area of life, except for one: religion. This stupid man would know everything there was to know about religion.

Hasnt anyone noticed that the world is constantly progressing and traditions of the old testiment and even the new are outdated and pointless to todays society?

God curses the serpent.

The reading is: "You are cursed above all the cattle and above all beasts of the field."

Is that not curious?

Does this mean that all cattle and other beasts are cursed?

Why are they cursed?

IF THEY ARE NOT CURSED, WHAT IS THE BIG DEAL ABOUT THE CURSE ON THE SERPENT

Can someone explain in laymen's terms Heathenism – at what point do you stop calling them Pagans?

What is the difference between Asatru, Odinism, and Irminen, am I missing any?

What other groups are counted as Heathens and what makes them Heathens rather than Pagans?

What are the [supposed] links between Heathenism, Norse based faiths, and racism or is this just myth?

*hands up* No Heathenism is not a branch of Paganism I know much, or anything, about.

definately not chatting. I have tried to get yahoo personel to give me some kind of definitive reason but just get a form letter saying see the guidlines but I have done that and the question is not a violation for absolute sure. My question is has anyone actually gotten any real answers from answers personel and how did you do it.
I know why it is being reported and it is not because it does not meat guidlines.

It's because it exposes serious problem in the Christian religion that the violators want to keep hidden.

There are many religious views on this subject and I wanted to see what yours were and what you felt about the teachings of your religion. What is Bible based and what is human belief from what you have learned and experienced in life.

If it were scientifically proven that consciousness is not local (exists only with-in your brain) but pervasive (that the universe itself is conscious) and that we are only a medium for it... would you be willing to rethink the possibility of God's existance?

How would a loving God send a gay person or straight person to hell? Isnt hell kind of a fear tactic to get people to be scared of disobeying the church and to make us scared of offending other peoples belief systems?

It seems we would be a lot better off if it didnt seem so deviant to challange religion.

How come when you ask someone to defend their religion they cant do it? All they can say is that the Bible says the Bible is true, so it must be...but that doesnt make sense. If i tell you that this question is written by God, you wouldnt buy it for one second, but you believe that the book in your hotel drawer is written and inspired by God

Someone please explain this stuff to me

Why so much anger? I would assume if you did not believe, you would not care. So why all the hostility? Looking for serious answers, though I suppose they might be, well, ...angry! Thanks everyone.
