How can anyone doubt God? How can anyone doubt that the earth and all the stars, the moon, the planets, the whole UNIVERSE was created by Him? How can you explain that it just came into being without someone putting it there? I mean, come one. God makes all the sense in the world, if you would just lay down your prideful ways and admit that He is the mighty awesome Creator of everything? I am looking for serious answers, not something rude but i am actually interested in how someone can deny God. Just because you can not see him, does not mean he doesnt exist. Just look at the stars, the moon, the sun, the infinite sky? How much more proof do you need? Have you ever seen a million dollars? Not likely, but that doesnt mean it does not exist. No rude answers or I will report you, i want honest answers please.

"How can someone doubt?"
Because there is no reason to think there are any gods. It really does not make sense for there to be any gods. It make a lot of sense and there is much evidence to show that gods are all man-made.

"How can anyone doubt God?"
For the same reason you doubt in the existence of all the other 10,000 gods that other people believe in.

"How can anyone doubt that the earth and all the stars, the moon, the planets, the whole UNIVERSE was created by Him?"
We know how the Earth, stars, planets are made. We have some information about what happened when the universe was made, but nobody knows what happened before that, if there was a before. None of that information points to a "him".

"How can you explain that it just came into being without someone putting it there?"
There's no reason to assume a "someone" instead of a "something". Sorry, but admitting when you don't know something is much better than just making up answers.

"I mean, come one. God makes all the sense in the world, if you would just lay down your prideful ways and admit that He is the mighty awesome Creator of everything?"
God makes no sense at all. And why would I lay down my ways to something that I don't believe exists?

"I am looking for serious answers, not something rude but i am actually interested in how someone can deny God. Just because you can not see him, does not mean he doesnt exist. Just look at the stars, the moon, the sun, the infinite sky?"
You don't see a teapot orbiting Pluto. Does that mean there's one there? I don't think so. You're wrong in assuming that because you don't know something, it's likely to be true.

"How much more proof do you need?"
Any.

"Have you ever seen a million dollars? Not likely, but that doesnt mean it does not exist. No rude answers or I will report you, i want honest answers please."
Actually, I have seen a million dollars. They have a million dollar stack in the Bureau of Printing and Engraving that you can see on the tour. However, even if I haven't seen a million dollars, I have seen several. I have also seen evidence to indicate that millions of them have been made. I have not seen any evidence that leads me to believe that any gods exist.

Yes, I've seen a million dollars. So I know it exists. And one doesn't need to see a million dollars to know that exists, because we can know with a certain degree of probability that it does. (Very bad analogy)

But, let's ask you this -- how can you deny that god doesn't exist and that all the stars and this planet and the rest of the universe simply came into existence via an explosive event? Or maybe the universe has always existed and has just expanded from a dense version to the current (not that this is a scientific theory or anything) one?

It's easy to deny the plausibility of god because we know that the invention of god was to explain away many things that were unexplainable. We also know that god was created to command laws and morality. We also know that god and the myth of god was used to force people into submission so that they follow the status quo.

You cannot use nature, the planet, yourself and the universe as proof because there is substantial proof via science that explains our existence, the planet's and the universe's. It's your strong faith that keeps you from opening your mind to look at the information in front of you.

I think the Hebrew Bible is mythology, much like Greek mythology. That means I probably am one of the doubters you speak of, because you are probably equating "God" to Yahweh, the God described in the Hebrew Bible (what Christian's call the Old Testament).

Even though I am convinced that Yahweh is myth, I am not 100% convinced that there is no creator of the universe. There might just be one. However, if there is one, I think there is no evidence that god is interacting with us in any way, Yes, there is a lot of people who claim to "feel God's presence", but this kind of religious experience is best explained when viewed as a kind of self-induced ecstatic trance. We see these kinds of emotional experiences in all religions and also as the result of drugs or sensory deprivation. This means that no religion can be considered "true" just because its believers claim to have proof through personal experiences.

Finally, there just isn't any good evidence that complexity came first. We have plenty of evidence that complexity has evolved. We are the first animals on earth who have evolved to have language and abstract thinking. We are able to create all sorts of complex things, but to date, the most complex things are us, and we are clearly just the pinnacle of evolution. If you insist on the idea that there must be a creator for all of this complexity, then you have the paradox of explaining what created the creator. You can't have it both ways. Either complexity evolves out of simplicity, meaning no God is necessary, or only complexity can create complexity, in which case you need to explain what created God. If you try to answer "God always existed", then I think you should also accept as equality valid (if not more valid) the possibility that the Universe (or the space-time our universe is contained in) has always existed.

Basically, I think the answer that "God did it" is a cop out. It seems like an easy, simple answer, but really doesn't answer any questions. And if you jump from "God did it" to "The Bible is God's Word" then I think you are trading uncertainty for false certainty.

"Just because you can not see him, does not mean he doesnt exist."

Is not the reverse also true?
Why do you want people to believe blindly into something they cannot see?
We have a say:
I'll believe it when I see it.

If God is as powerful as you believe, all he has to do is to show himself to the whole world for 5 minutes only. That is what he would do if he was fairdinkum.

But to answer your question:
People started questionning God in a big way when the BIg Bang Theory was discovered in the early seventies.

We are less guilty than you by not believing into something invisible while you refuse to accept scientific evidence.
We now have telescopes discovering more of that evidence everyday. How can you ignore it?

It is one thing to believe in God. It is another to use him as an excuse to convert people to religion.
If there is a God, he was not the one who founded religion. Man did that to exert some control over the general population.

We now have better evidence than a belief in god to explain the beginning of the universe.

Your idea was used in times when such evidence and knowledge was not available. They needed something to explain why we are here and since it was beyond their understanding, the explanation must also be beyond their understanding so they created a god that did it all.

There is no excuse for believing your nonsense stories now though.

You can not see the wind, but you can see the effects of the wind. Like wise with God, but some people will deny seeing the effects of God because there eyes are not opened as yet.

How can anyone believe in god?
Your faith is based on a book that nobody knows who wrote or translated.
It is full of contradictions and hypocrisy.
If you would just lay down your prideful ways and accept science
and scientific evidence then you really might begin to see the light

The answer is that since no one has proven there is a God, the burden of proof is not on the non-believer to prove. That would be like me asking you to prove that there is no purple snake under my bed. I have not proven that there is a purple snake under my bed, so to ask anyone else to disprove this, is illogical and childish. The burden of proof falls squarely on you to prove your assertion. Why would anyone want to spend time proving there is no god, when no one has in the first place proven there is a god?

God gives man free will and asks man to accept god out of this free will. some do some don't. its sad but if everyone followed the way of Christ the world would be a better place.
