there is no end to the birth/death cycle? What if this is god's version of heaven that he/she created for us? What if this is it, and it is ours to make what we want of it for all eternity until we evolve ourselves to the point of pure being? And from there we start it all over again, what then?

That Jesus is WHITE...Revelation 1:14 His head and [his] hairs [were] white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes [were] as a flame of fire; ppl here in this forum REFUSE to believe it..Oh he's Asia, no he's dark, oh he's Olive skin, oh he's middle eastern. Yet clearly the Book of Revelations say's Jesus was/is White. What sad state of affairs Christainity has reduced to, when Christains refuse to believe the Bible......anyway..smile..God love's you..even in ignorance...Question..why don't you believe?

Blasphemy? Asking the almighty to help with a feild goal, or anything for personal gain really. Many of the christian NFL, NCAA, and other organizations openly say they do. And what if in gods plan that their team is supposed to lose because they have become egotistical. What do you think?

I used to be Christian, when I was growing up. I slowly lost my faith. The main reason for this was that, logically, I couldn't justify believing that the Bible is true. What evidence is there? I've come to believe that the only reason people believe the Bible is true and are consequently Christian, is because their parents told them that it is true when they were young and impressionable. I believe the same holds true for any religion. If someone was brought up to believe that God was an alien that lived on Neptune, they would believe that to be true also. So, where does my logic go wrong? I would especially like to hear from true believers, to get their point of view. I fully expect to receive answers such as "You're going to burn in hell" or "Jesus loves you even though you're misguided", but I do believe there are intelligent Christians out there who can go beyond that superficiality and offer intelligent viewpoints.

Jesus was always the WORD ....OR word of God

What do you think about this, do you believe that Jesus always lived in God....Jesus as the word in the old testament?........and God as Jesus in the body form, and the word from the new testament?

I've never been religious - but I've always know there was some sort of God. I feel like HE never listens to me, or that HE just doesn't care. A year or so ago I was going through rehab. I was going through a really hard time and I was in the middle of the desert with a group of other people who were going through the same thing as I was. We were in group, talking about our faith in God or a "Higher Power.." I said that I wasn't sure if there was a God or if He could hear my pleas or if He even cared or loved me at all.

I have never been the one to go to chuch because I was never taught about God. I've always been curious though. Anyways, we were all talking, and after I said "I'm not sure what I believe in because I feel that the God of my understanding doesn't hear me or care about me, he never answers me or shows me a sign - - he hates me."

We wear makeup, color our hair, get our nails done. Vanity? Take it a step further, Botox injections, plastic surgery, expensive wardrobe. Is there a line to stop? Opinions please.

I saw a question about this and a lot of people took the church to task. I serve in the children's ministry and since we can't spank a child if a boy or girl stands there and refuses to sit down and stop running around and disrupting the class all we can do is try to gently restrain them until one of their parents shows up. So who's fault is it if after several such incidences the parents are told that their child is no longer welcome? The teachers or the parents?

After man and ape went their separate ways and the missing link died out, man looked for a way to distinguish himself from the rest of the animals. "We are far more beautiful," said man. And man lived many years, developing technologies to lengthen his lifespan. But he saw his brothers dying nonetheless. "We are far more beautiful, and we are far more intelligent. We should not die like animals, we should live forever in bliss." Man searched but found no ways to stay on this earth forever. Mans brethren started to doubt their significance in the world. Suddenly, man up surged, "I have found what makes us special. We are far more beautiful, and we are far more intelligent. We should not die like animals, we should live forever in bliss." And man said, "Let there be GOD."
Is this how the idea of God was created???...........

there is no space between? What if we are really (in a very tangible way) connected to everything and everyone around us (not to mention those across great distances, like continents, planets, galaxies, etc.)? If you truly believe this, how does it feel when you hurt someone? How do you treat the universe from the point of view as it being a part of you? How does this make you feel about the nature of god?
