BTW, to clear up someone's question: yes, a 65 is passing. Everything below is failing but a 65 just sounds so... is icky the word after all that studying. I spent about 2 hours a night on Math homework and studying. Blech.
p.s. Thanks for all the encouraging advice so far and god bless.

a 65 is not so good, but it could certainly be worse. Simply prove to your teacher/professor/instructor that you're trying and continue to work hard. If you are on the boarderline at the end ot the semester perhaps your teacher will bump your score up b/c of your effort. Math is a frustrating subject if ever there was one. But don't get too discouraged. A 65 is still much better than an F and it's actually very close to a C. Keep trying and try to think positively. i wish you the best.

I assume that's not good...
But don't despair - Albert Einstein's headmaster said "he'll never make a success at anything". He left school at 15 - a failure.
Of course, he went on to develop The Theory of Relativity (including E=mc2) and The Quantum Theory.
Here's a joke to cheer you up:
The other night I was going to bed when I heard a noise outside. I looked out the window to see a group of people stealing things from my shed.
I called the police but was told there were no units available to help - someone will be there when they can.
I hang up in disbelief.... A minute later I call the police again and say, "I called before about the thieves in my shed. Just wanting to let you know that there's no need to rush because I shot them all - they're all dead."
Seconds later a dozen police cars enter my street - sirens blazing. They catch the thieves red-handed. The officer in charge says, "I thought you said you shot them all." To which I reply, "I thought you said you had no units available..."
Have a great day - maths scores aren't the end of the world.

Well, feel good for all the 90's you got in previous subjects/exams. I wouldn't get sad because a single test result. The fact that you got many other better grades represent a high % of probabilities that you'll do as good or better next round. Sit down and think about it for a second.... You did great! Congratulations!

My daughter takes her grades very serious. She failed a test one day & was very upset. Then I said " Listen, baby when you're giving birth to your first child or are planning your wedding, do you really think that the D on your report card is really going to matter. It's great that you care about your grades & want to do well but I will more proud of you of you if you get an F & try your best than get an A & don't try at all". What's done is done just try as best as you can & ask for extra help if you need it. Good luck

Ok so maybe you can go to the tutoring center? Math isn't easy for many people, myself included. Next semester you start over with a fresh slate and so get off to a good start. If you see yourself not understanding things then get help right away instead of struggling through it.

Don't worry you are going to do much better next quarter.
Your smart, That's not the problem.
Math requires one thing to make it understandable. A good teacher.
Have faith in your self. You can do it.
Just don't give up hope, continue to do your best. Don't be afraid to ask for help when you don't understand something. Ask one of the brainyacks in your class if they will help you. They are often shy and are thrilled when anyone notices that they exist.
We have faith in you and we know that you can do it.
love and blessings Don

So Math isn't your best subject...No Big Deal.
Get one of those guys that always get straight A's
to give you a hand studying...Having someone there
just to guide you through the ruff spots is great.
I bet your grades will improve.

depends what your dilemma, r u afraid that your parents will be mad; I got a C in math and y told me "Don’t worry, everyone does bad the 1st semester" its true everything is new. And if it just self doubt, just try better next time, be attentive and try not to get distracted. Don't worry about it :)
