Yet clearly the Book of Revelations say's Jesus was/is White. What sad state of affairs Christainity has reduced to, when Christains refuse to believe the Bible......anyway..smile..God love's you..even in ignorance...Question..why don't you believe?

Revelation 1:14 states: The hair of his head was as white as white wool or as snow, and his eyes were like a fiery flame.

Christ's hair is white from age and wisdom as eternal, clothed with the dignity that belonged to the "Ancient of Days"; see also Rev 1:18 and Daniel 7:9.

This verse is not describing the skin color of Jesus Christ.

With love in Christ.

when was the last time that it SNOWED in ISREAL?
or EGYPT, or any of the middle east?

Revelations was written over 150 years after his death.
how the hell did they know what he looked like.
oh because we could not have him look like an ARAB now could we.

any verse in revelations talking about Jesus is probaly speaking in a spiritual manner, in which he is usually described with a brilliant white light behind him and would most likely appear white. and being spiritual he would be made of pure energy so it would appear white.

this has no bearing on the looks that he possessed as a man.
furthermore in that time white hair was a sign of a witch. a babe born with white hair would probaly be seen as a demon to be killed not a savior. he was born of jewish parents. he lived in a jewish world. even if he was born white his skin would have gotten darker over time as a defense against the sun.

oh i am not christian i am Pagan.

If its in Revelations, it wasnt about his life here, when he was in the flesh, it was about how he would be later. Revelations is future tense. Jesus, in the flesh, was middle Eastern, Jewish decendant. He did NOT look like that in the flesh. I think you should study more about Revelations, clearly youve missed the meaning.

It is also says his feet are bronze and he had a sword coming out of his mouth... Do you literally believe he had bronze feet and a sword shooting out his mouth? Was he literally holding 7 stars in his hand?

Jesus was born in the middle east so he looked and dressed just as an arab would. So what is your problem? What, does Jesus have to be white in order for you to love him? Can we say; racism?

I agree with jkf727.This is the book of Revelation, not the books written about Jesus when he was on Earth.

You have misunderstood what you read. This description of Jesus is of the glory of God. Jesus in human form was a jew. In a heavenly form he is all colors to all mankind. Moses had to wear a veil due to the glory of God? The same thing

Really, what difference does it make what color Jesus's skin is? Jesus was here for ALL people, so what is the big deal? Jesus is God, that's all that matters. He didn't come to Earth to separate races.

Not all of the Bible is written to be read in a wooden literal sense.
One type of writing is symbolic.
Each image has a certain meaning.
You seem to be making an exegetical mistake.
Jesus is Hebrew .

That is talking about Jesus in His Heavenly state - after the ascension. Not while He was here on earth - He was/is Jewish. Please concentrate on the hearts of people - not their color. That is not Christ-like.

Jesus did not write the bible, old homopobic mem that did not have any fun when they were young wrote it and they left out all the stuff written by females. Jesus was white according to hitler also so what does being white have to do with anything good about this crap anyway?
