the purpose of life is purposelessness? Our greatest quest in life would be amusement and enjoyment? Isn't this what heaven is supposed to be?

some people actually do believe that their life has no sense of purpose or that they by themselves do not serve a purpose...

and thats precisely why some people commit suicide, or some people live "immoral" lives...

if the greatest quest in life is amusement & enjoyment... then humans are really nothing more than savage beasts who drink Starbucks and wear Prada... & some people do what they want to do & are justified by what they believe in.

Purposelessness... Is that a word?

If there is no meaning to life, that shouldn't stop you from living. Besides, you shouldn't live for the possibility of heaven. Live to find meaning, something worth living for, and then live for it.

who can prove that there's a purpose in life anyway? we believe that we're supposed to have lofty goals like being productive, suffer here on earth for our rewards, yadda yadda. it's all about guilt and superstition of not knowing that which we cannot know or see. We feel guilty whenever we're having fun.

What if there really is a purpose to life, and you missed it completely? How sad.
