What I mean is... if you HAVE to do something that is considered a "sin" but the ONLY reason you're doing it is because it will result in a positive outcome, is it still a "sin"? And no, I don't mean killing someone for their bike just to satisfy your own selfish desires, that's not the "positive outcome" I'm thinking of. Like I said, it would have a significant impact on "the greater good".

When I was younger my parents never pushed any one religion on me. They encouraged me to attend different churches with different religions with different friends and I did. But I am not religious.
I think the Bible is what is it - a book. I think it has great moral stories. Just as good as any Asops Fables or Mother Goose. The Bible just has older stories.
I just don’t believe that people were created by God. I believe in evolution, I don’t believe you go anywhere after you die. Ok.. you go into the dirt. I believe you take what you got and make the best of it for yourself and others. Not because you get into heaven for it. I have all my family / friends, if I didn’t have all of them I would have any reason to live. I live my life for what I have not for what I might have.

If I'm not a Christian and I don't believe in God, but I am good person - not killing, not stealing, helping people and everything else that Bible teaches us, everything, except believing in Jesus, where will I go when I die - Heaven or Hell?

I asked a question earlier about Noah's Ark and then I realized that wasn't really the question I should have asked to get the insight I wanted

This is what I really was thinking about:
We're taught that there were no human when there were dinosaurs. And like I said before, religion and science often clash but there is evidence of dinosaurs, and so I ask should we take what the bible and scientist say into consideration when thinking about were we came from? I also started to think about how in the bible it says God created earth in a week, and that animals were created before Adam was, and that made me think maybe God's week is much longer than what we consider a week.

rather than trying to disprove God by propping up a big HOAX perpetuated by Darwin. It's a waste of talent and taxpayers' money

Agree or disagree?

Which is more pressing problem now: (a) how to defeat the "super bugs", or (b) proving / disproving the theory of evolution?

What if Hitler died at birth? Would he have gone to Hell for things he would've done if he lived? How is it fair for people to die before age of accountability if they would've done horrible things if they have lived?

Atheists dont try and say you dont have beliefs because you do. Christians believe in a creator and that creator being God. Atheists believe there is no creator thefore we and everything in the universe just appeared somehow. Christians believe we are here for a purpose and there is a destination we have after death, atheists believe we are here for no reason except to take up space and that there is no destination after death. So which beliefs are more logical, I say Christian beliefs by far not only that but there is also hope in Christian beliefs unlike the illogical and hopeless atheistic beliefs.

I was studying the bible with these people then they told me that Jesus came back in 1918 born in Korea as Ahn Shang Hong which means Jesus in Korean, died in 1985 and asended to heaven but during his life he brought back the Sabbath and the Passover they worship just like the bible says women wear veils to worship and pray in church. I went to their church and felt very uncomfortable and they won't leave me alone now. I told them that I don't believe what they believe because if Jesus had came and gone already then everyone would know about it. I read it was a cult from over 1000 people on the net and they say that those people just want to put us down, have you heard about this new religion, church or cult? They said you're not supposed to worship on Sunday and if you want to go to heaven then you must be baptized in the name of Ahn Shang Hong and honor the Sabbath and Passover and they use the bible to back all of their beliefs up, is this Satans best trick yet or what?

Please don't just report this question because it insults you, it is not supposed to, just I wish to gauge peoples opinions on this idea

also, its not much point saying "because God is great" or "The Bible says so". it would be really iteresting, and I hope you agree to see peoples ideas on this

Thankyou

The single largest killer in all of human history is, by far, atheistic Communism with a total of 110,000,000 … over 1/3 of all people ever killed! If we add to that number just two other regimes where religion of any sort was strongly discouraged, Nazi Germany and Nationalist China, the number rises to 141,160,000. Almost 50% of all the killings in human history were committed in the past 100 years by regimes that either actively promoted atheism or strongly discouraged religion. We have not considered the over one billion abortions, where Christianity seems to be particularly unwelcome. When the murders of history are tallied up, it is very clear that atheism is the most dangerous philosophy ever embraced by humanity.

God hates ALL sin: Sex outside of marriage is fornication, sex with another persons spouse is adultery, eating too much is gluttony, stealing, lying, coveting, etc.

If you are going to "scream" at the gays, might as well "scream" at the movie theatres, all you can eat buffets, drug rehab centers, porn shops, bars and clubs, etc.

All have fallen short from the glory of God. That is why Christ died for ALL mankind.

God loves all sinners: Christ died for all mankind while we were yet in our sin.
