Ever read Inherit the Wind?
It suggests that we should not take either theory exactly as they are presented, but accept both with a few modifications.
For example, The Bible does not say that God created the Earth in a week, it says seven days. We measure time by the rising and setting of the sun, yet the sun was not created until day four. So, the days before the creation of the sun could have been of any length of time. As long as science says it took the solar system to form? As long as science tells us that it took humans to evolve to where we are now? You are right on track. Nowhere in The Bible does it say that God created homo sapiens, it just says Adam and Eve. Perhaps he created the earliest forms of humans and allowed us to evolve to where we are today. Don't forget that The Bible has been translated many many times, and often words can be replaced with another word for lack of an exact meaning and inadvertently change what it was intended to say.
So, no, there were no humans when there were dinosaurs.

The bible is an old story book, as time went by the stories were changed a little at a time, if I told you 3 things, you pass them on, then that person passes them on, by the end, the 3 things are very different to what you were told to start with, that is how the bible is. However, true facts, these have been researched and evidence found, yes, there were dinosaurs, the ice age wiped them out, no humans were about at that time, why, because we would have also been wiped out. Each person has their own religion and their beliefs, religion is what a lot of people cling to, the older you get, the more you want to beleive as it is the only thing you have left. Hope this helps.

There is indeed a lot of evidence backing up the existence of dinosaurs, and none whatsoever to back up the tales in the bible. And there's another big pile of evidence about the origins of homo sapiens, and none of it suggests -- none of it even whispers the idea -- that man and dinosaurs ever existed at the same time.
If you wish to think of the bible as mythology, there's nothing wrong with that. If anyone tries to persuade you that it's based on science, they're talking nonsense. You can refute their arguments using the explanations at the link below and other similar sites.
You have a lot to learn and I bet you'll find it fascinating. Best of luck to you.

Evidence shows that dinosaurs and humans never walked at the same time. It would be impossible since we would have gotten eaten really easily by them.
God's "week" is that, just a week. It is only people trying to justify the bible that try to say a week may be 1 million years and so on. Either way, the bible says that the animals were given plants to eat (vegeterian animals), so how do you explain carnivorous animals?

You're right. There weren't any humans when dinosaurs lived. How do we know? Well, for one, we don't find human fossils with dinosaurs. Nor do we find the fossils of rabbits, dogs, cats, pigeons, ostriches, elephants, lions, tigers, bears, rhinocerii(?), pelicans, geese, rats, mice, kangaroos, koalas, sheep, or any other mammals or birds we know today with the fossils of dinosaurs. Isn't that rather odd if dinosaurs lived at the time of the supposed flood?
And to the person above who says that because there were mastodons there were dinosaurs, do some research on what a mastodon is. It is a relative of elephants covered in fur that lived during the Ice Age. And we don't find their fossils with dinosaurs either.

In the old testament book of Job chapter 40 may be describing a dinosaur when you look at his description of the animal.I've been told that remains of several dinosaurs have ben found near one another indicating that they could have all drown in the flood. Also i heard that reptiles do not have a growth rate which means they can be any size if they live long enough..All i know is i believe what the bible tells us and thats the best i can say. May God bless you.

tough question i see. no one really know all about creation. There are some different ways to look at it though. God could have made the earth already aged. Think about it. He didnt make Adam and Eve infants, they were already aged. He didn't make all the tree small. Some were already full grown. If human and dinosuars did live together that doesnt mean that some dinosuars were meat eaters. Even though some animals have sharp teeth it doesnt mean that they eat meat. Bears have sharp teeth but the don't eat all meant. Just because something has something doesnt mean they use it. No one started to eat meat till after the fall of man kind. Hope I helped you out a little.

There really were no humans when dinasoars roamed the earth. Not for thousands and thousands of years. Perhaps the bible is not meant to be taken literally as far as creation occurring in a week, but is meant to be read as an allusion to god's power.

The bible is a book of myth, so should not be considered from a scientitic perspective. As to god creating the world in a week, again, this is a myth. Realize this and you will, no doubt, find answers free from make-believe.

Well I must be older than you because when I went to school, we were thought that the cavemen were hunted by the dinosaurs and it was assumed cavemen were humans, our teachers never hinted they were not humans, so every thing changes, who knows what they will say when you get older, we were also taught whales once walked the beaches, and when my kids were in high school they told that to their teachers and they said they never heard of it, go figure
Your question is based on assumptions
