maybe. God uses hardships & struggle to build character to the person you might think has a 'hard life'. if he just hands over everything we want we dont learn anything.

Depends on what you mean by "fairer." Some people were born with wealth, others earn wealth. Some people have love, others search for it without success. Some are rich, miserable, unloved and empty. Some are poor, happy, loved, and full. Which one is fair? What is it if you gain the whole world, but lose your soul? Your life will become worthless and it certainly will feel "unfair" to the person receiving his due punishment....but nothing could be more just to a believer in Christ.

from what i believe in,i am alive for ever in reincarnation.I will get lives fairer and not.but the key here is to appreciate what you have and with the real god as a foundation do with this life the best you can have and i am sure you would not envy others nor think they are better off.Maybe these people are there to test your strenght.I am an average joe but i am 95% happy everyday, have a good day.

Sure. Some people can get away with milking the system, getting welfare to pay for their habits, driving an expensive car, all the while the hard worker is footed the bill and told to "go screw yourself" when s/he hits hard times.

A mix of, what family you were born to, natural selection, what you did in the past to have brought you to this point, missed opportunities, fear of failure, not being aggressive enough, with our society there are so many variables

Certainly, some people get what they deserve, whether that be positive or negative events, and yet some seems to get all the breaks or none at all, no matter how deserving.

We are all lucky we have our health, food, clothing and to be
a living spirit here on earth. I sometimes wonder why God
allowed some people to be retarded or sickly; but someday
I think God will restore these people in the afterlife.

If life had anything at all to do with human measures, the answer would be yes, but the answer is no.
