Am I right by saying that there are allot (ALLOTTTT!!!) of diffirent beliefs in christianity, but the Bible says that there are only ONE that is the right one. So think of this, if there is only one that is true, there is a good chance you and me are following the wrong one. Whats your oppinion on this?

Also when was the NT made into the NT?

2 Kings
6:26 As the king of Israel was passing by on the wall, a woman cried to him, "Help me, my lord the king!"
6:27 The king replied, "If the Lord does not help you, where can I get help for you? From the threshing floor? From the winepress?"
6:28 Then he asked her, "What's the matter?" She answered, "This woman said to me, 'Give up your son so we may eat him today, and tomorrow we'll eat my son.'
6:29 So we cooked my son and ate him. The next day I said to her, 'Give up your son so we may eat him,' but she had hidden him."

Jeremiah 19 Read This Chapter
19:9
I will make them eat the flesh of their sons and daughters, and they will eat one another's flesh during the stress of the siege imposed on them by the enemies who seek their lives.'

I was very interested sufism in Islam. So i researched a lot about it, there were so many knowledges in there. Muraqaba I think is like supernatural prayers, where many supernatural and miracles may happen. Although these things only may happen to people who r close to Allah. I tried to do one of the Muraqab, there wasn't any great affect but there were something strong and powerful grwing throgh me, i just dunno wot. I use to close my eyes and do it, so once i was doing it outside and I think I saw trough my closed eyes that the daylight was greating brighter although it was in the afternoon, and once it felt like i was lifting from the ground.
I want to know that doing these tasks, will it affect me in some way cause I am not an alem or pirr. My Imam told me without any help from a sufi master, I may be affected in a bad way.

I was forced to go to church today by my dad. I could have easily started a fight, but I decided to comply. Cuz I love peace, and stability for this family. Should I have stood my ground? or complain to the church? or sue the church? What would you have done, if you wanted to stay in the house?

I listened to my ipod all the time. didnt get up or sitdown along with the rest of th "sheeps"

After church, Dad just said that,...

Next time, you sit next to me. Next time, you will take the communion, Next time.... Blah blah." (he noticed the ipod, i guess)

He also said that I will burn in hell. (He he.)

isnt taking the communion without ANY respect for it a SIN, buy the "church"'s terms? then why is the so called believer that my dad is, forcing me to do so?

Atheists, What is the best reply to eat the communion, that could make him bite his tounge? I'm willing to do anything to.... Oooph! I'm so angry right now! Eating that piece of shi't is not a problem. But Somehow, it fires me up

Hi, I have been really soul searching lately and I feel like something's missing in my life. I had a rough childhood and my teenage years weren't great, so I turned away from religion completely. But deep down, I like the idea of community and caring that goes hand in hand with faith, but I want to know which religion or denomination is most accepting and friendly to newcomers. My parents were Catholic, and I just don't feel it's right for me, so what religion or religions are there that are friendly and can provide me with that sense of community that I'm looking for? Please, only serious answers, I'm completely serious about my question and I don't appreciate any replies that poke fun or are mean-spirited. Thanks.

Why do some who confess to be Christians engage in slander, mockery, and backbiting? Jesus himself said that man will be help accountable for every word he speaks. I ask this question because a certain Church had a group of people in it that nearly destroyed my life!! Nearly drove me to suicide. And even when I desparately needed help (I had a death in the family) They where all gun ho for about 1 day and after that it was back to the evil speaking again. I am convinced that the most evil people on the face of the earth exist in churches. Because I have seen it with my own eyes. And there is nothing worse than someone knowing Jesus, knowing what right and wrong is, and doing the opposite. At least in the Satanic church, They don't know any better! They do what they do out of ignorance. But for somone who does know, there is no excuse!!!

It seems that "faith" is an idea that belongs to religion, yet we tend to agree that it shows itself in secular arenas like medicine, for example the Placebo Effect. Are there any other "religious truths" that show up in the Secular World.

Anytime you find a preacher or leader denouncing one activity or another, you'll end up finding him/her engaged in it.

Interesting how Jesus called these denouncers "hypocrites".
"You who judge...Hypocrites! don't you do the same things you speak against!?"

Look at Haggard. Want to end up like him? Jesus would have been riding his hypocrisy in the papers for 3 years before Haggard would've had Bush put him down (maybe make it look like the Iraqi's did it tho)

Judging others means that the "law of death" is still alive in you!! So please, please, stop doing it. Your standards aren't "higher". They're just puffed up. Read 2Cor3

(By the way, I don't judge people who judge. They just kill me.)

Then why did some of you report C-Junk off this site (don't try to deny it, he only asked Christian questions). Could it be that he knew more about the bible than you will ever know, and he asked questions that made you feel uncomfortable? Well, I have news for you: Until he gets back, or until I am suspended, I will be doing my best to ask the questions that make you so uncomfortable.

According to my knowledge Jews were awaiting two prophets - Alijah and Messaih.

John and Jesus could not settle their positions as to who is Messaih amongs them! (As per the prophecy ).

They accepted each other as prophets with message of God.There was no question " Who is God / Man".

I AND MY FATHER ARE ONE, only meant, at that time, that in purpose and message, we are one. No jew could take it as divine relation of body and soul?

Jesus also said, in the Gospal of John, to Desciples YOU AND ME ARE ONE? Then we shall have to accept 13 or 14 Gods for our salvation?

How you see this situation? - Thanks.
