John father was Zacharias, a priest from the tribe of Levi, therefore making John a priest from birth.

Mary is reported to be from the tribe of Judah. If Mary and Elizabeth are related (Luke 1:36) -

then John and Yeshua were related through their mothers, more than likely second cousins once removed.

Sorry, God wasn't the father, Joseph was the father, in turn John's uncle.

I think that Mary and Elizabeth were cousins. That would make Jesus and John first cousins once removed (I think).

Jesus came in the flesh as a man therefore human relationships apply to Him. God the Father did not come in the flesh in the form of a man so human relationships do not apply to Him. But He is a Father to all those who confess Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord.

God is the Father to ALL.....
read this-
"...that we are children of God and if children then heirs- Heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him that we may also be glorified together"-Romans8:16-17

as for ur information, John the Baptist was a human too, so he too comes under the category of being joint heirs with JEsus just like you and me. Also, he was the child of God too just like u and me.

clear!!??
