tell him that you love him, worship and adore him. that is why he made us - to worship Him, for He alone is god.
share your heart with him. Ask for His guidance and ask Him to open up His word for you so that you may gain understanding and wisdom as given by the Spirit.
Tell him how much you love Him and get to know him as your DAD, Friend, God and King!

as i know as i am a muslim how much iam close to allah(my god) in my heart proved by my behavior and acts he is near to me,so when i pray iam sure that he is hearing me and he will realize what i asked him,and never never dis appointing me.
if you asked him he will reply if not now in the near future be sure of that.
