Literally, spirit means 'breath'. It is a life sustaining, invisible force, that has a mind of it's own,,"....and no one knows whither it comes or whither it goes,so is the Spirit."One of the ways Spirit becomes energy, is when you speak,"...and you shall say to this mountain..." One of the ways Spirit becomes life, is when you inhale and exhale.

"Spirit" as used in the New Testement comes from the Greek word "pnuema", meaning breath or wind.

This comes from the original Hebrew word of "Ru'ach", meaning wind or breath.

So, the "Spirit", as in the Holy Spirit or the Spirit of God, as used from the original sense of the words in both Hebrew and Greek, is used to describe God's life giving Breath.

Spirit is the breath of life that God gives to all creatures. We creatures have just a small portion that gives us life, but God's Spirit has made bigger appearences in the past. The Pillar of Cloud that held back the Pharoah's army while Moses and Israel escaped from Egypt - that was God's breath.

The smokey oven that Abraham saw with the firey torch when he placed the animals parts for God to make a vow - that was God's Breath.

The Holy Spirit that came gently down upon Yeshua after he did his mikvah (it was not a physical dove but picture a funnel of wind gently as a dove touch down) - was God's Breath.

The Spirit doesn't become energy. It is energy. Its the messenger that delivers God's Words to His chosen.

The Spirit doesn't become life, it is life. God breaths His breath (spirit) into every creature when they are born, granting life to the creature.

Hope this helps little bit.

Spirit is an essence of vibrational frequency and its' source is the life force stemming from the cosmic order of the universe and the Creator.

Spirit becomes life when the soul's aura is energised by the vibrational essence of the frequency. This aura can only be energised through spiritual enlightenment of all things that are wise and compassionate.

many people think of spirit in different ways

i take it though you are talking about eternal spirit .. the part that lives on after death

well even in life we are energy ... when we die , a part of that energy lives on
i think of it like our aura that surrounds us ... the part that holds all our information
i feel this is what lives on after death
so it isnt a matter of spirit becoming energy ... spirit always was energy
but in life and death .. that energy simply changes form

The spirit is the image of God that is hidden within the flesh of the structure of the human body......

It is unseen... Just as God is unseen.....

But, you know it is there because you have the ability to think and reason without opening your mouth.....

As for the body, you look out of it everytime you open your eyes....

The spirit is energy..... Without it, every cell in your body breaks down..... and dies.............
